Abjudicator screwup (urgent)

You only get supply centers if you move or stay there in the Autumn phase. If you move onto it in the Spring and then move out of it in the Autumn, the supply center remains neutral.

To capture a new center, you have to be in it right after fall moves.
That's when center ownership is re-calculated and builds are assigned based on how you did.

While I occupied Spain only during a Spring turn, the rules say that it is my territory regardless of whether it is unoccupied or occupied by one of my units.

I hope one of the administrators is able to come to my aid before the next phase begins!

This does not apply to Supply Centers, only territories.

sry, ava2790, he's right. I've never played with anyone who played any other way. The rule is that you have to control the SC over the winter

It's also worth noting that it's only in the Autumn phase that builds are determined, and destruction of units takes place if you have more units than SCs (supply centers) after the Retreats phase.

It might also be worth noting that it doesn't have to be the same unit holding the SC in Autumn as you took it with in Spring. So, for example, you could take Spain with Army 1 and then in Autumn move Army 1 to Portugal and another army behind it into Spain, thus gaining you two SC in Autumn!

ava- you MUST control it in fall for it to be yours.
Rules clearly show this...
I take it you are a novice?

In you scenario for eg, if austria moved bud-rum, then ser and tri-alb and then greece, and vie-tyr-mun then Austria would have MUNICH, SERBIA, RUMANIA GREECE all from 3 units....

Now tell me where the logic would be in that case?

ava2790, you're misreading the rule you're quoting. a territory that you CONTROL remains yours even if you move out of it. But to gain control you have to hold it at the end of the fall turn. If you read the second sentence of the paragraph you are quoting states "A unit that moves into a supply center during a Spring turn and moves out of it during the Fall turn of the same turn does not affect the ownership of the supply center."

Historical Accuracy?

Are there ever any variants of Germany, Austria, Ottoman vs. Russia, England, France, and Italy? 4 v. 3 would be quite unfair but the central powers are consolidated and could drive the others out.
