thirty six hour phase (n) - the default phase length on WebDiplomacy.
FTF (n) - an acronym for "face to face", which refers to a live, in person game of Diplomacy. Most purists consider FTF the only way to play Diplomacy. It is not recommended that a FTF game consist of thirty six hour phases.
Dip Points (n) - a method of currency on WebDiplomacy. Players are given 100 Dip Points upon signup and can only enter games for which they can afford the entry fee.
