I think the forum moderation has improved recently and a lot of people are making a lot of fuss about very little. I am not leaving, and that's that. SO THERE.

It's not like he never contributed, but the gold medal he had has been stripped away from him..

Chronological sequence of events

Board game developed between 1954 and 1958. Nothing was against the rules.
The internet was created in a bid to save diplomacy players postal costs.
Phpdiplomacy created. Forum had few rules.
PHpdiplomacy change name to webdiplomacy. Forum still had few rules.
Power crazed people somehow get appointed as mods
Little while later draugnar gets banned.
Mods don't think we should concern our little heads with the rules of the forum, that's what they are there for.

I'm pretty sure Allan B Calhamer would be pretty pleased. I'm not sure hoe the younger Kestas would now view the current totalitarian regime. Maybe one day he'll let us know.

My friend has 2 brother who want to play this game. They live in the same house so they would all have the same IP address and I know your not suppose to know a person outside the game but they can't help it. But would that technically be violating the rules or not.

Is it me, or has the forim.moderation swung too far the other way?

Just saying when a lighthearted thread about the correlation between lawn care and politics gets locked, it's gone too far. I think my forum time will be wrapping up soon cause this is gonna kill all discussion.

lawns and political alignment

Seeing krellin's lawn on google street view made me wonder, is there a correlation between use of dandelion herbicidal chemicals and political rightwingedness?

Furthermore, if there is such a correlation, could the cause of said phenomenon be resultant from the corrosive effect of stated chemicals on human neural systems?
