I know it sounds like a joke but I'm asking for a serious reason. Who's calling? That's all.

Evolution is not selfish
Something I've been saying for years; nature rewards the co-operative. Not co-operative in that "I want to get laid and the best way to do that is by being co-operative", but proper altruistic natural instincts.

GoGo-3 Game - obviously no draw
http://www.webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=118966
Most of us have wanted to draw since before Pacific Russia started winning. Argentina put up their vote for draw when they were still larger or about the same as P.R. I'm on holiday soon. Please draw, or i just throw the game.

I'm thinking 24 hours per phase, anonymous players WTA with a pretty big pot and some good players. Any of those options but the last are negotiable, let me know if you're interested!

"Even Obama said, "I can tell you that if that was me, I would resign.""

NOT a call for resignation. Obama is a cowardly pussy.
krellin (80 DX)
01 Aug 13 UTC
This is the SAME Obama who called white policemen "Stupid" without knowing any facts about a case. He has no problem being direct when he *believes* something. Racism Obama can get in to...not women's issues though, as he pussy-foots around the issues...
hecks (164 D)
01 Aug 13 UTC
^ 10 high profile male Democrats calling for resignation, Obama not quite doing so. It's still far from the silence you characterize. I would, however, still be interested in hearing your examples of times the Republicans drove out their own over such an issue.
hecks (164 D)
01 Aug 13 UTC
Incidentally, much of this comes from an article unfortunately titled, "Democrats Push Weiner to Pull Out." Diction matter, people.
krellin (80 DX)
01 Aug 13 UTC
We aren't discussing Republicans - you are trying to deflect. Stay on topic. Just agree with me and the healing will begin. :)
hecks (164 D)
01 Aug 13 UTC
I dunno, Krellie, you're the one who said, "This is an identified problem in a specific group of people...Democrat party office holders. Republicans *DO* broom out the dirt when shit like this erupts. Democrats are either silent or circle the wagons of defense, dickwad."

You claimed it. Are you gonna MAN UP and back up your claim, or are you going to shrug your shoulders and concede that it's unsubstantiated bluster?
krellin (80 DX)
01 Aug 13 UTC
Objection overruled. Stay on topic or you will be held in contempt.
hecks (164 D)
01 Aug 13 UTC
Well, I've given examples of Democrats condemning Wiener and Filner. That seems to disprove your original claim, that Democrats are silent about sexism and sexual misconduct in their ranks. And now you're refusing to defend your secondary claim that the Republicans do a better job of it than the Democrats do. Unless you've got something else to present here, I'm ready to claim uncontested victory in this debate.
hecks (164 D)
01 Aug 13 UTC
I'm at my desk, Krellin, if you want to call and congratulate me on my victory.
krellin (80 DX)
01 Aug 13 UTC
You have no such victory, as the debate is not yours to judge. Your shallow and vapid examples are pathetic at best...I'm still waiting for ACTUAL Party leadership. You're taking about the bat boys....meaningless drivel.

krellin (80 DX)
01 Aug 13 UTC
Besides which, it is not my story any more...it is in the National Press...tell them they are wrong.
hecks (164 D)
01 Aug 13 UTC
I see... so the Speaker of the House, president pro temp of the US Senate, Chair of the DCCC, and Chair of the DNC are not significant players in the party apparatus?

Your statement, "The party apparatus *never* [your emphasis, not mine] speaks ill of their own," has been disproven. Take it like a man.
krellin (80 DX)
01 Aug 13 UTC
Pelosi is not speaker of the house. Wasserman Shultz is a ravenous lapdog, and not spokesman for the party. I want to see Harry Reid, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Obama, John Kerry...I want to see actual party leadership.
hecks (164 D)
01 Aug 13 UTC
You're right about Pelosi not being Speaker (sometimes as a defense mechanism my brain reverts to the days before Boehner), but she's the ranking house member in the party. The names you see above are the legislative party apparatus. The Executive branch doesn't weigh in on the legislature. They have to work with these people. And I don't know if you noticed, but John Kerry's a little busy at the moment. I'll be deeply impressed if you can show an example of any sitting president or vice-president of any party calling on any congressperson of any party to resign for any reason.

I think Krellin gave up booze to concentrate on speed or cocaine... I mean, he produces much more stupidity, and at a much more alarming rate, than ever before!
krellin (80 DX)
02 Aug 13 UTC
But it is somewhat more coherent... :)

Anyway....man up, Cach...Admit that Democrat are a liiiitttttle bit feeble when it comes to standing up for women's rights to a workplace free of sexual harassment. Why is this so hard for you 'tards to admit?

It's shameful, really. For god's sake, I'm on your side on this one!! Or...do YOU hate women, too?
Cachimbo (1181 D)

Oh! I'm not getting into this one. Don't have to. I'm Canadian.

As for your coherence...

Meh! not getting into that one either!

Oh...CANADIAN you say. Well they REALLLLLY hates da womens, eh?
Cachimbo (1181 D)
02 Aug 13 UTC
God damn it Krellin... For a conservative ass hole, you sure know where to get the best stuff to mess up your brains. Wish I was that well connected. Guess I'll just have to snort some maple syrup or something in the meantime.
krellin (80 DX)
02 Aug 13 UTC
Cachi cachi cachi...real men shoot up their maple. Ever sneeze out dried up maple? ick...

Now...go hug a nice woman...let your healing begin.

The only thing messin up my brain, by the way, is trying to wrap my head around Liberal denial...it's harder to grasp than Schroeduner's cat!

Putin is definitely the "top" in this relationship.
