Also, excellent comeback from England. I looked back at the game and noticed that was around when Strat decided to hit draw.

Stra, what the hell. You work over France then abandon it to take a new tact, leaving Mar open in the process so he can just take it back? No wonder you drew. You screwed the pooch with that last move.

Haha, as France I wish I had not tried to take England, that made me lose, lucked out with the last convoy or else I think Germany would have gotten me. And draug, he had an army that would have retreated there.

And by the way barnett, what happened with that last convoy?

Looking at that game. I am quite confused on why both Germany and Italy drew also.

I hit draw just to try and get a coalition against somebody. Thanks rdrivera for you wonderful support. Had the game continued I would have taken on Germany as best I could.

My only disappointment was that we agreed to finalize as soon as possible but some kept saving instead of hitting ready. I really don't like long games. Shorter deadlines are my preference.

Hmmmm... Using the draw vote to get a coalition formed. Risky. Would have been interesting to see had it worked and the draw not happened prematurely.

Well, first of all I want to thanks everybody for a good game and apologise to not finalize on some turns (only on weekends), but it was just to guarantee I will not miss a phase.
Second, a draw is beyong my dreams on this game after I got four neighbours against me on the first year. I really don´t get why Austria decide to support Turkey into Rum, specially as it seems he want an alliance with Italy too. Austria pays the price of helping Turkey and after that I just keep defending myself from Turkey until Turkey have to deal with Italy.
After this start I decide to try the approach to help the biggest guy (Germany) to try to get at least a survive. After some turns England decided that geting Stp isn´t more important then defending his home centeres and we started a good colaboration.
I end the game with my original 4 SCs.
I think Germany can´t really win the game and Italy will need a lot of guessing to break into Turkey to have a chance. If this is not gunboat, of course some small powers could be removed before a draw, but in a gunboat isn´t that easy to do make this without risking your position.

And I am up for another one, if you guys decide to start a new game.
