Sigh. jimgov, V+ and I are in the D league too.

It's fun. It's like taking a break from the Matrix and splashing around in the kids pool.

Trust me, I'm overrated.

In any case, I have drawn or been eliminated in 9 out of my last 10 games. So... I almost certainly qualify for the D league now.

I don't know if I am qualified to make this decision, as I am simply a noob expressing a need that has as yet gone unfilled. Plus....I fear you are all simply seeking my bloody corpse underfoot! lol Seriously, though, if anyone knows the **official* method by which I can/we can/someone can approve your desire to complete our game, I would appreciate that info! Friendly - I'd be glad to have ya if it were up to me.

Anyone want to enlighten as to the replacement process???

Officially the rule is thus:

"If a player enters civil disorder, or has to leave the leagues for any reason, they will be kicked from the leagues, and suspended from the next season as explained above. The leader from the next league(s) down will replace them. That player will then play in both leagues for the remainder of the season. If a player does not wish to do this, they may choose just to play in the league that they are currently in, and the next best player will be chosen instead."

I am aware however, that this has not always occurred in the past, particularly with the lower league divisions. If you want it to be 'official', I'd advise running it by Mr. Ghostie first. ;)

Hold your horses there. There's a fancy official replacement list. Let's go through that first before we recruit some plebeians.

The eligible position fillers would be (if I understand the rules correctly)

8v4stepansk, cujo8400, mdrltc, TheRavenKing, Hellenic Riot, 2oaks, Bear in the Woods, L1star, jcbryan97, KoBorg, doofman, hopsyturvey, rodrigotjader, chuyelchulo

Stepansk would have the option to join first, if he declined it would be offered to cujo, and so on and so forth. Once again, depending on the situation, it may be most prudent to act other than in accordance to the official rules. Just sayin. ;)

Hey. There is no "next league down" for us in D2. So, Krellin, you have my support to bring in whomever you can. I won't even backstab you on this :)

There should be a waitlist of players who'd like to participate.

gjdip - Are you stepping into Ghost's role in filling this then? I understand someone else from our game has already contacted Ghost to no avail - but I understand with the responsibilities of real life and his recent accident things may be difficult for him right now.

I just know that someone with authority to make the deicision is on the case. is that you?

Amon Savag is in that game and he is about to CD in one of my games. I dont think he has been around for days so you may need to get another replacement if he doesn't show

I joined the league to play some games without people going CD. This just sucks.

D leagues still have some tendencies to have CDs as anyone can sign up and it's first come first served for filling the gaps each season. As you work up in the leagues, this problem tends to go away.
