Well this is a Texas team, so I'm guessing they're either hunting, have commited suicide after Colt McCoy got hurt and UT lost the BCS Title, are witnessing a death sentence being carried out, or are having sex with their cousins. Just the most logical things I could think of.

I'm from Texas. I like my state. I don't really know what the World Cup is all about, but I'm interested.

A serious problem here is that Dipper Don who began this thread has gone MIA. In the last few days I have begun to get burned out with tournaments, vowing that the TMG tourney would be my last. And the difficulty getting this team together has only added to my apathy. If we can get this together VERY soon then I am in...so if Dipper could reply or someone steer this thing, that would be great. I have no interest in captaining this team. There is only one open slot left....so the issue may get decided for us SOON. We obviously have enough players...we just need to get our shit together and make some decisions.

Basically its a team thing, with teams picked by region, and players compete in the different "disciplines"

Thucydides....i have no problem with you being captain. Though I am dumbfounded as to why Dipper Don hasn't responded here or to my PM. We need to decide who will play what style of play. We need 2 players for "regular" games, 1 player for gunboat, 1 player for public press.

I think you should currently live in Texas, if I understand the spirit of the tourney correctly. Timetokill is interested but not confirmed. Confirmed are myself, Thuc, PuppyKicker and L1Star. That seems like we have a team. I am interested in the public press or gunboat.

I'd be interested in "regular" games since I've only been around here for a few months. I do live in Austin, so I think I "qualify"!

That's cool...L1Star...would you mind doing gunboat? Puppykicker does have a good win percentage in regular games...as does Thucydides. From the teams that are already formed, the standard games will be quite competitive. And since we are a team...I assume we would be able to give you suggestions if needed.

Well minor is probably not correct...but under the legal drinking age, anyway. Having graduated from UT, I can safely say there is no alcohol on campus anyway ;)
