You can't make much progress in one game anyway, so what's the harm?

Also its not like the 1983 Raiders team has a spot in the 2009 playoffs... so why include people that aren't playing and for instance if #3 goes away for a few monts and then comes back they are added right back in to the list but they will alwaysremain on the master list

Because Ghost is making this list out of the goodness of his heart and your asking him to do more work for almost no benefit.

I don't care whatmy ghost rating is It was like 9000 something for months and as long as I stay alive I'm fine but I'm just saying this sort of gives people an Idea of where the active players in relation to each other are without having to scan the giant list

There're are a lot of highly ranked people who haven't played a game in months, more than a year in some cases. Clearly at some point it makes sense to remove them from the list.

we could keep them on the All time list but remove them from the Current lists

I have a solution that could make everyone happy. It would be easy for people to find themselves as well as others in the list, without removing players who have worked hard to earn their rating. How about implementing some sort of "Find" function? It could be accessed by using a standard shortcut, maybe something like "Ctrl-F". This would allow the user to type in, say, the name of the player they are looking for, and then the document will find the matching text and scroll the document to that position. This could probably be expanded to search for any matching text, not just user names. That way you could search for anything in the entire document! I'm sure it couldn't be too hard to implement. As a matter of fact, I think I'll just hack some servers and add the code myself. brb

There ya go, denis. Now just hit Ctrl-F and type in the name of the player you are looking for, and hit the Enter Key. It will take you right to the name of the person you want.
