Doubt on rules

A fleet in Gulf of Bothnia can support another fleet from Norway to Peters.
I am sure it can if in Norway it's a tank, but I think if it's 2 fleets it's not possible.
Can someone confirm or dismiss this?

I think it would be funny to create a mini-tourney where metagaming is not only allowed, but encouraged and endorsed. Have some friends? Tell them so sign up! Pissed cause some guy stabbed you last game? Give him hell!

Live Game for 72 Hours

...well amost live. 15-min phases but timer will be set for 8-hours for sleeping. Game will last 3 days total, after that everyone must draw.

The inserting orders problem

After an update optimizing order caching and getting 0.9 ready for public release there was a bug in the footer code. When any bug gets detected all changes are rolled back in case the bug caused any data corruption, which in this case rolled back valid changes to orders, which meant orders didn't save any submitted changes.

The bug has now been fixed, and next phase times have been extended to ensure no-one misses their orders because of it. Thanks for reporting the problem

every time i finalize my moves and and click on a different game my moves are reset as if i hadn't done anything, also it keeps showing me that i have messages when i have already read them! Help please and Thanks in advance!

The Roma- HOW?

Chat Achive - could this be switched around?

I think is excellent that we can now read all messages from the games we have played. One thing though the messages appear in reverse, with the most recent message appearing at the top, and the first message at the bottom. I think it would be better if this was switched around.

OK well the game balls in ( gameID=12397 ) just ended. Three way draw by Me (england), BESM (austria) and IKE (Italy). After the draw was done pending, I got this message on my homepage.

Balls in!07:45 PM You have drawn with your rivals, and survived! You win 236 , an equal share of the pot!

then, the three messages above it....

Balls in!07:45 PM You were defeated, and lost your bet; better luck next time!
Balls in!07:45 PM Italy was defeated.
Balls in!07:45 PM Austria was defeated.

And when you try to open up the game it says:
Game not found; ensure a valid game ID has been given.
And it didn't count my draw in my profile.

IKE? BESM? Same problem?

It looks like due to a lack of checks in rare cases where games were voted for drawing and meant to be processed at the same time games could be drawn and then processed.Since the game had finished and data is archived when the game gets loaded for processing it looks like the players had no supply centers and so were thought to be defeated. Then when it detected everyone was defeated and no-one was still playing it thought the game had been abandoned, and so wiped the game

I've added some extra checks so that games can't be voted on then processed, thanks for pointing this out

Hi Kestas,

This sounds very similar to the bug where one of my games simply evaporated. Game Id 9237 called "Diplomat First, Commander Second II".

I was Russia with 15 SC's. Austria, had 17 SC's. England had 2 SC's. Then Austria went CD(!) and I voted for a draw. I don't know if England did too, but I got the following messages all with the same timestamp:-

You have drawn with your rivals, and survived! You win 22

, an equal share of the pot!
You were defeated, and lost your bet, better luck next time!
England was defeated.
Austria was defeated.

We discussed it in thread Id 462047 but so far this hasn't been resolved.

@Monkey, yes I got the same message. Pretty funny. You survived & the game is drawn. On second thought you were defeated ha ha. You lost your bet & draw points.
Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time. It was a good game though, now it's not even in our archive of games :(

@kestasjk could this have happened because we drew the game before fall builds?
As soon as it was the 3 of us we drew the game. Should we have waited until the following spring move to draw?

It also gave me twice the amount it told me that I was getting.

And yea, I was thinking the same thing, about drawing the game later. And kestas, s there a way to bring the game back or at least put in one more draw on our profiles? And is this going to affect ghost ratings?

please join this sight for more diplomacy and a south america map!

this is the korean diplomacy. it also has a map of south america you can play. it is set up the same as this sight and is in english too. if you join this sight you would not be multi accounting either even though both sights look alike. i encourage all to join this alternate sight as well because it only has about 15 active games going.

New, but very excited

Ive been playing the board game for 20 years, but recently moved and cant find a new quorum of players. Hence, am very excited to find this site. But how do I find a game to join? If i click on "open games" I just get a weird message.

I'm not sure if there's someone I should send this directly to..
but my understanding was that a player that shows up as left doesn't affect the voting?
