the +1 thing started with Sioraf asking who was more popular. The thread was so silly that I said Sioraf -1, instead of a +1 for the other person (I think it was Sicarius, but that has long ceased to be relevant) Sioraf threw such a fit about that not being the way the voting was SUPPOSED to work that everybody chimed in with Sioraf -1.

But it would have died with that thread, except that some other thread, sioraf said something and more to make myself laugh than anything else I just wrote Sioraf -1 and laughed my ass of for about 10 minutes (I might have under the influence -shhhh). After that it took on a life of it's own.

And the funniest of all was when Sioraf finally seemed to get it, and I said something stupid in some thread and he pulled it on me. That was great and totally unexpected. Good times.

Diplomat has carried on the tradition since then (i.e. flogged that dead horse over and over again)
