I believe I saw an NMR followed by MAO and a bounce in Gascony. That was simply dumbfounding. EddardStark97 will remember this one.

I think the worst I saw was a move to Eng, Bur and Pie. He was let through each time. In the following turn he tried for Munich, Lon and Venice. He was bounced out of Lon and Ven but made it into Munich.

Still, in a full press game, trying for the home center of 3 different countries is retarded and as a result he made enemies of all 3.

I think it would be worse if he moved MAR-Spa. Then he'd have to decide whether to try and bounce Italy in Mar or not. A 50/50 shot of getting no build.

then he could potentially disband all his units in the fall retreats phase and build all new ones.

Saw this one once in my school tournament. Might have worked better if he'd gotten to the Western Med in S02 but Italy opened to Piedmont and he ended up self-bouncing and taking Portugal. To make matters worse, Italy - wisely - supported Spain back into Marseilles over the self bounce and France was left with one build. He built a fleet in London, moved it to the MAO, and Germany snuck into both Burgundy and Picardy the next year and slaughtered him as Italy cleaned up Iberia.

I want to say Germany solo'd that game but I can't remember.
