I think that 2008 to 2010 had Cartoon Network with this plan for new shows:

1) Take copious amounts of illegal drug.
2) Write down your hallucinations and delusions verbatim.
3) ???
4) Profit!

It works; Adventure Time is still going strong.

While I missed the bandwagon to get into adventure time, from what I understand, it has a fairly decent and coherent plot, with copious backstory.

sad thing is i like all of these shows

They brought back the voice talent from Teen Titans and made some stupid 10 minute episode show called Teen Titans: Go with absolutely no production value and clearly just trying to cash in on the popularity of the original Teen Titans over on Boomerang (their retro cartoon station).

I liked the original A:tLA but they shouldn't have made the new one. I can't see the Four Nations becoming so much like modern Western civilisation over a span of just 100 years.

Didn't the real world develop at about the same rate, though?

Especially East Asia which it seems to be based off of. And One of the things I love about this site is that you are bound to have people with all sorts of beliefs and likes and dislikes come here and discuss, because it is all about the mind behind the thoughts that attracts one to Diplomacy.

I can't say much about China (I know it became another area to colonise in the eyes of Europeans, Americans, and Japanese in the late 19th century, and it was largely agricultural before Zedong's bloody revolution), but I know that Japan was incredibly isolationist (only allowing the occasional Dutchman to trade, otherwise completely no foreigners allowed) until the 1850s, when the industrial U.S. came and opened it.

Then again, the Fire Nation already had steam power....

And they lacked guns. I think having elemental powers in the majority of the populous would cause for divergent technological growth.
