No-one has said that England played magnificently, only that they played better than the US.

England was very unlucky, great team with great coach and not so great goalkeepers. But there is two more games to be played and England will be on top of the group.

The US Team did a unexpected good job...however England was clear the better Team in that game.

It was a shame for England the great Soccer nation just do a tie.

I thought Servia was supposed to play smart football. Or at least not especially stupid football. I was, apparently, expecting the wrong thing. Neither of those teams stand a chance against die Mannschaft, if it's at all a usual version.

Dont underestimate them though, they play better against better opponents, and they could take Germany...Serbia-Germany 2-1

That Mexican ref today sucked. A red card on WHAT!? There were 4 instances where that same maneuver was played out and nothing. A yellow card when Cacau dove rather than get swiped.. Come the hell on! If he wouldn't have dove, his legs may be broken! I understand that Germany was at 3 or 4 to nothing when I think Khadera was fouled in the goalie's box as he was trying to strike, but come on! You can't friggin' pick and choose when to enforce the rules! That ref needs to never set foot on the football field again.

For sure. I seen that same tackle happen 4 other times that game, and no red cards. If you're going to do it for one case, you've gotta do it in all cases.

Completely unintentional, but you're right... It was questionable enough, I may have given it if I were the ref. This simply reinforces my view that the ref on the job was complete friggin' garbage.

i can't say i expected to see germany go off like that, though nothing was going right for australia. that red card was very excessive, and it was just salt in an already butchered wound.

I'm more anticipating Italy. Their 2006 coach is back, and they've got no shortage of talent. It will be interesting if they are back in form.

Lol, and Lucas Niell wasn't penalised for kneeing Klose in the back. Holland are number four, and will probably make it into the knock-out stages. Italy are playing Paraguay, so that shouldn't be too hard.
Japan will draw with Cameroon, both good teams.

not a great first half, much better once elia came in, though the danes are annoying as hell to play against. had 8/9/10 players behind the ball for 3/4 of the game. all in all a good start

Paraguay played well. I revised my picks last night from the ones that I made like a week ago, apparently to my detriment. I actually had Italy v Paraguay tie at 0-0 and Netherlands v Denmark at 2-0 which was the correct score. I have no idea why I would have predicted a tie (can't remember my reasoning) between Italy and Paraguay so it makes sense that I changed it... I got hyped up about Netherlands and gave them 3-0.

Now I'm considering changing my picks for tomorrow, but I'm scared to. =D

Had a quick look through, seems most of us predicted 3-0 to the Dutch.
I think I'm going to start having to make some deliberate rash choices, because my current set are quite standard, so I can't see myself making up the lost ground.

I didn't know what the hell to predict with Italy... But I didn't like what I saw. I am sure about that much.
