Kingdroid.... just for fun. actually its because when I join anon games, some keen observers notice my points go down and realize I'm in one game or another that was just created. this makes it extra difficult for such OCD people to figure it out... well, they just have to jump through several extra hoops. really, that's the only reason.

Lowell, we very much appreciate your interest, however since this game is being billed as a high-GR game, most other players will likely prefer to play other high-ranked players. I'm sure you will do great over the next few months and be able to join this type of game in the future. cheers.

I request non-anon because in a world game, anonymous users all turn into a faceless blur. I am not interested if it's anonymous. It's 17 people, definitely enough to make it not need to be anonymous.

Dune welcome. Ill add your name to the list tomorrow. It will be non anon, and hopefully 200ish bet. I think at this point 36 hrs is minimum, but we did talk about potentially 48 if we get everyone to *pledge* to finalize retreats and builds.

I also have PMs from a few more top50 players who said they will check in after the long weekend.

We do have one player who wants a Dec 18 start, but I think most others would prefer a Dec 7th start which is another 14 days from now.

Next week at some point I will start. Nailing down the parameters and asking for confirmations then we will probably create the game with a 10-day sign up period around Nov29 or so.

Well, world games are nice in the fact that they don't count much for ghost ratings so attacking someone for a GR gain doesn't make any sense.

@Babak my GR is not high enough to qualify me. I also don't really like this map and am not really looking to join games at the moment either.

I'm ranked 55 as of the October ratings and would be willing to play. I've been getting my butt handed to me in high ranked classic games, maybe I can turn things around for me here.

Of course i'm interested, but my problem is that i will be on vacation all this month (December), so if the tournament starts on January then i'm in...if not i'm afraid that will not be able to join :(

Hellalt, though your sentiments have merit, please be less rude in expressing them. I appreciate you helping with this thread several times, and I hope there ends up being space for you in the game, but if you are rude and insulting here, I'm going to have to deny that opportunity.

As for copy pasting, yes it would be nice, but not necissary. Its a long weekend and people have family priorities. I will add Dune, King, and gantz along with their parameters when I have time this weekend or on Monday.

@gantz, jan might be too late for most, but we will include it and see what others say.
