I have to say that I love this new code. It's a lot faster now. I still have one issue with the convoy though, my fleet is now able to convoy a unit, but my unit doesn't have the option "via convoy" and therefor, when I finalize it, it saids: "the army of x move to x undefined"...

How it won't allow me to support St.P at all. only Norw Sea http://www.webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=13648 but the undefined statment is gone

The autopopulate the convoying army leaves this message when the order is finalized:

The army at {origin} move to {destination} undefined.

I also notice two "move" options on the drop down for the origin unit's action choice.

Actually, it appears that all of the relevant options are there, it just puts the currently selected one at the top of the list and does not remove the redundant copy. ie: a support holding unit has two "support holds", a moving unit has two moves, a convoying fleet etc.

TypeError: value is undefined <---- I get this error when trying to load a page as a pop-up. On that page one unit doesn't have dropboxes at all. It used to have a dropbox though, and I already insterted some orders there..

Really redcrane? I was expecting complaints from mobile browser people, the script must be very slow on handhelds if it works at all

Carpysmind; that should now be fixed

Analyis; that was a bug while I made the above fix, should work now, and your orders shouldn't get lost since they are validated by the unchanged server code

I haven't encountered any issues except for the "No..." at the end of all sentences in one of my games. This was fixed after a few order changes and refreshes.
I really like the way the new orders system works. It spares me of a lot of useless reloads and time. Congrats kestas!

Kestas, on my blackberry I constantly have to refresh to get accurate information, but that predates this latest change.

Now... heh, now I get a popup whenever I made a change ""What did you just update?!"

stratagos; those should now be fixed, your blackberry experience is definitely more in line with what I was expecting. We're using the "prototype" JS library now, and it can run on IE6 but I'm not sure what browser blackberrys use

Blackberry uses the Blackberry Browser, which is compatible with nothing ;)

I will test it on the browser and on Opera Mini once I finish a few things for work

My army still saids: "Army X move towards x undefined". It should use a convoy however..

I'm not seeing it Analysis, I've looked at all your games and all your orders and can't see that anywhere, which game and order specifically?

That's because I didn't finalize my orders 'cause I didn't want the game to move a turn.. I dont really want to specify my in the forum though, I'll send you a pm.

OK, finalized orders and copied them to as evidence to show that there is a problem in your programming. Sure enough, the orders placed and finalized where not the orders established at the game site. The game; http://www.webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=13648 and the order was “The fleet at Norwegian Sea move to Edinburgh” and it was not implemented in game play. sent email with copy to you as well. Please correct.

So far the errors I experienced have gone away, though I've yet to try on my mobile and no games have gone through as the deadlines are not near.

Got another example of one that has been reported before.

Setting a support-move order from Territory A to support an (allied) unit into Territory B. It arbitrarily selected one of the three possible choices - which in this case was the person I wanted to take Territory B *away* from, so I'm not really thrilled with that idea ;)

The game is suggesting orders for you stratagos? My menus just remain blank.

Not suggesting, forcing the choice - as soon as I select "support move" into "territory", it picked a unit to move in there - just as it does when you place a support hold order and there is only one unit in range you can possibly hold - no other choices were given

My mistake carpysmind, while trying to reproduce your bug earlier I forgot to change back one of your orders, I moved it back and reprocessed it

I've now spotted the undefined bug, looks like it's an incompatibility between the exact set of choices the server permits and what the javascript generates, I'm looking at exactly what the difference is now
