OK, so I was thinking some on the promotion and demotion numbers. Here is what I came up with. Comments and possible modifications are welcome. Sarcastic comments woith no intent to help and no intent to actually participate can send their messages to orathaic so he can ban you if he likes. :-)
Premiere - Demote bottom 11. Yes, only the win, place, and show get to retunr next season and they face the new victors of A.
A League - Promote 10 and Demote 4. Seems strange, but I want to give the #1 spot in the Open Leagues a direct shot to the Premiere too encourage cut throat play. Notice that no one repeats in the A League. You either get relegated back down to the Open League or have a shot at Premiere. For most, this will be that Premiere shot, but with only three having come from the Open Leagues, many of the A Leagues (in the future) will be out to redeem themselves and the Open Leaguers who get promoted will be out to prove they are better than the guys and gals who sat at the top of the leader board for one season.
Open Leagues - 5 get promoted. 1 always goes straight to Premiere. The other four are two winners and top two seconds in a three group Open with the other first, both seconds, and the best of the thirds in a two group, and obviously 2-5 in a single group. If we get a fourth group of 14, then we can play it in a similar manner with the other 3 winners and top second getting the four spots.
What do you all think. I like having someone be able to jump all the way to the top with a kick ass outright win of all the open leagues and having the top leagues be "win or fall".
