Just thought I'd mention for anyone interested: The 11th episode of "DiplomacyCast", the Diplomacy podcast, came out last week. Check it out at www.diplomacycast.com or at www.facebook.com/DiplomacyCast
No, this is not a discussion on absolutes. It is an experiment. I wnt to play a diplomacy game in which all players must tell the truth, and nothing but the truth, to their fellow diplomats. I think it could make for a very interesting game. Lies by omission would be acceptable, and trying to mislead someone without lying is certainly encouraged. Would anyone else be interested in such a game?
The Democratic-controlled Senate has not produced a budget in more than 930 days.
This makes is hard for Obama to run with any credibility at all against a "do nothing Congress" when his own party hasn't done even its most basic job in the Senate for over two years.
OK, I'll Give Mr. Gingrich Credit Where Credit Is Due...
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/newt-gingrich-prepared-heat-immigration-043951171.html I DO think that's one of the more reasonable positions taken on immigration, especially by a GOP Candidate...never been a fan of Newt's, but he's at least now said one thing I genuinely agree with in these debates...that's one more than the rest of the GOP field...your take?
Haven't played here before. Was wondering if there was a different style map for the world game. Finding it difficult to read country/province names in the darker spaces and can't read in the dark blue FA spaces at all. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
As I understand it password protected games are typically posted in the forum. You see the game and then go look in the forum for the post with the password but without a search function how do you find it?
Seeing as you continuously start threads about how the left is continuously wrong and flawed forever, explain the following question to me. Why did this financial meltdown the world is currently experiencing come under a right wing president of the United States. The housing markets were obliterated, the debt of the United States and Europe went through the roof, and the stock markets still have not recovered all their gains.
Super Mario vs. The PETA...What A Bunch Of Goombas (I Kid, No One Get Uppity...)
http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/peta-slams-mario-over-fur-suit-211025773.html Really? ...Super Mario wears a racoon suit--that we all know he's worn before, if you're a child of the 80s or 90s--with magical flying powers...and that=mistreatment towards real racoons? ...These people have NOTHING better to do? Mama mia...
NYJ@DEN: I keep betting against the Broncos, and it bites me in the ass...but I say JETS CIN@BAL: Tempting to go for an upset, but I'll stick with the RAVENS, reeling or not JAC@CLE: In the game all of 200 people will watch...I say the BROWNS CAR@DET: Nope, not gonna fall for the Cam Newton trap again--the LIONS back on track TB@GB: The PACKERS stay perfect BUF@MIA: Again, I've blown the Dolphins pick the last two weeks...but I have to say BILLS OAK@MIN: I'm goign with da RAIDAHS, but it wouldn't surprise me if they blew this one DAL@WAS: I'll go for the upset pick--the REDSKINS keep their slim wildcard hopes alive ARI@SF: My 49ERS will finally officially be winners for the first time in a decade! SEA@STL: I'll go upset again and say the RAMS upset the vastly overrated Seahawks TEN@ATL: I'll stay safe here, though, and take the FALCONS SD@CHI: Tempting to say the CHARGERS will blow it, but I think they just squeak by PHI@NYG: The GIANTS get right back on track and effectively end the Eagles' playoff hopes KC@NE: In a game that sounded much more interesting before the season started...the PATRIOTS
NYJ (but would love to see Tebow and the Donkeys beat them with -1 completions, aka an interception. I'm not a Rex Ryan fan..) BAL CLE DET GB MIA OAK DAL SF STL ATL CHI NYG NE
NYJ@DEN - I want to say Broncos on this one, I really do. The Jets are traveling across country, and haven't had a full week's practice. But in the end, they're the Broncos. JETS. CIN@BAL- I keep pulling for the BENGALS to win. Hopefully they won't disappoint JAC@CLE - Please BROWNS, don't disappoint me again. CAR@DET - A close one, but the Lions seem very out of synch lately. I'll fall for the Cam Newton trap. PANTHERS. TB@GB - PACKERS all day. BUF@MIA - Well, this one will be closer than it may first appear. DOLPHINS continue their streak and leave the Andrew Luck lottery OAK@MIN - RAIDERS all day DAL@WAS - COWBOYS should soundly beat the 'Skin ARI@SF - the NINERS take another win SEA@STL - a toss-up, really. Both teams are coming off of wins. But going off of the formula that says the Seahawks beat teams they shouldn't, and lose to teams they should, I say the RAMS will win this. TEN@ATL - FALCONS should win this at home SD@CHI - BEARS will top a sliding Charger team PHI@NYG - GIANTS will stomp Philly KC@NE - PATRIOTS get another win
I wouldn't call it 'incredible'. While the Jets have a good run D, they had a very short week and had to travel across the country to defend a unique offense they haven't faced since any of them were in college. That's a lot of pressure for a defense.
The Broncos arent a bad team, they are two FGs from being 7-3 right now, and have a fairly underrated defense with good players in key roles. If Tebow learns how to hit receivers from the pocket, they will be really hard to stop
Tebow is 4-1, that's got to count for something. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if he wins by throwing well or running it, he is still getting the W. Somehow him throwing on the run is better than his pocket passes right now. If he figures out how to hit people from the pocket, added with the running threat he poses, then I'd call it impressive
goldfinger who cares how? A win is a win. Pretty sure the Broncs ran to victory last week too? At the end of the day, it's the only stat that matters, and I don't care how you pick it up.
