I saw a dead bird on campus today
It made me pretty uncomfortable sitting on the bench near it. It was a red cardinal
I wonder why it died, and if marxism had something to do with it. I decided to sit inside instead and listen to some modest mouse.

I blame Abraham Lincoln
He screwed over the south's economy without granting them an alternative, devastated their homeland and subjugated them to the union. There's no coincidence that these people's descendants elected Trump today. They have been disenfranchised and alienated and economically subjugate since before 1860. We are paying for the sins of our fathers.

The union should've bought the slaves' freedom the same way Britain did.

Did I say anything about Trump supporters not being vocal ghug? I don't understand what you're getting at.

Demon said that her Clinton supporters needed to be more vocal, to which I replied that they are already vocal and a majority here. Are either of those statements wrong?

She was arguing that they were being drowned out in the thread. Y'all just circlejerked for several pages of forum, so I don't think that's at all inaccurate The argument she was making was clearly one of relative vocality, and you attempted to refute it, so yours was de facto one of relative vocality as well.

Don't do that weaselly shit on me. It's below you.

The liberal faction on this forum circle jerks several pages all the time, and they can do it more often because there are far more of them.

What circlejerk and what weaselly shit? I'm not kidding. Is me talking to ND about how to handle threats like Ogion's a "circlejerk" now? Or me and a couple of Trump supporters being happy about voting for him?

Frankly it seemed like the mere presence of happy Trump supporters is what was "scary" to Demon, and I noted that there are plenty of Clinton people here too. We're outnumbered in the forum. What's there to be scared of?

It sounds like you inherently think something is wrong with male sexual experimentation; as you added a flavour of homophobia to your tone.

Would you feel the same about a group of females gathering to have a scissor party for Hillary for example? Or was it just male homophobia.

OK, I actually read this thread, and this is starting to get scary. The discourse has devolved so much, into bitter hate filled lingo making generalizations. (Not everyone in this thread.) It's not just here it's getting worse. It's everywhere.
There is going to be no winners in this election. Only losers.
The hate between both sides and violence has drastically gone up. Heck, I'm even seeing violence in Canada over the American election. (Freaky thing to witness)
I'm pretty young, so this is really the first election I've ever followed closely, but is the tension between both sides usually this extreme?
Both sides as a whole seem to gather behind their lines and circle jerk (forgive my homophobia?) anyone who disagrees with them, while the reasonable ones so rarely have a voice.

"There is going to be no winners in this election. Only losers."

I had a good discussion with a historian last night, who basically thinks Clinton will be terrible for the world (in terms or her warmongering with Russia and willingness to use force) and Trump is nothing short of a Fascist (with no brown shirts, instead he uses red caps... )

So indeed, i feel this sentiment more closely.
Fluminator (1500 D)

Yeah. Clinton's track record with being good to other countries is very low at the moment, and there's no reason to think it will change.
Meanwhile Trump's statements about nukes and his track record of being a bully would probably not be great for the world either.

1. Trump does not need to win PA to 'win' the election. He does need to win FL.
2. One poll had Trump up 3 in VA and another has Clinton up 7. VA polling is terrible. The 2014 polling average had Warner (D) up 12 points and he won by .05 in VA. 538 did a big report on that 'shocker' after the election. Look it up.
3. Clinton supporters are already a majority on the boards.

Sad to see how less educated while males are so afraid of having a female President. I wonder if even American women are prepared to accept a female president. The gender issue seems to way too important. The real issues should be policies and competence and if those had been the issues, Clinton would have won this circus election easily.
orathaic (1009 D(B))
05 Nov 16 UTC
I would like to refer you back to Hillary's history as a warmonger and the expectation that, as the first woman to become president, she will feel the pressure from critics to prove she has the halls to do the job. Likely resulting in a hawkish foreign policy. Isolationist Trump may be better for the rest of the world - but horrible for Americans of multiple minorities...
fiedler (1293 D)

What a wonderfully imaginative world you live in Peter, if you think Hillary is at a disadvantage because she is a woman. If anything it is a massive, UNDESERVED benefit to her. Anyway, she's going to jail, dimwits.

Your love for Hillary is astounding. You people honestly believe that you're more intelligent than Trump supporters? Your dumb stupid naive childish retarded minds were exposed the moment you fuckers failed the incorruptible, never-took-a-dollar-from-corporations, stood for gay rights when it was unpopular, voted against wars when they were popular Bernie Sanders.
