I'm English so I just rip the piss 'cos that is what we do. I especially like the people with lots of points who lose and then proceed to tell you the mistakes you made, as opposed to the mistakes they obvioudly made because they lost. There seems to be a strong positive correlation between having a lot of points and being a complete knob !!

Cheating accusations on the forum are forbidden and it's generally known that some people are jealous of players who manage well and accuse them for their success. No one takes them seriously, it's mod business. Feel free to do as well as you can with no restrictions, the mods will catch you if you multi and celebrate with you if you don't.

I have 55+ of these kinds of campaigns currently running. ~77% success rate at ruining their lives so far, not bad I'd say.

But you still haven't told me why :D I'm seriously not joking, I want to know. I play games because I don't want to be pissed, that's the whole idea of doing something just for fun. If I got a solo but was pissed because of others' actions, I surely wouldn't feel like a winner. If he is stalling, I take it as a nerves of steel mindgame. If he takes us both down, I'm cheering at his stupidity for I'll get another opportunity to win soon. If he's rude, I'm, like, ultrahypersupercool and don't mind at all, even chainsawer get's bored after a while. Plus it's fun, have you ever wondered why is e.g. Draugnar so funny? If he's better, I have no time to be pissed, I have to learn to become better as well. And when all else fails, I can go ballistic as well. I always try to play in such a way that I can screw someone over when I'm about to be finished. Allows for ending a high note before another game starts ;)

The only good kind of pissed is "REMATCH, MOTHERFUCKER" and I haven't encountered that in online Diplomacy. I guess F2F is different.

Well I'm pissed off when a country invades me without seriously considering my proposal to cooperate and then takes us both down because there was no good strategic reason to attack in the first place.
Not in the I start slinging stuff kind of way, but more in the "touting my lips, closing my eyes, gently letting my forehead fall onto my keyboard" kind of way.
