Well in the old thread doofman indicated he was backpacking until mid-Feb some time so if he is in he would need a sitter initially. If all others are still interested that gives us two teams. I am still interested, but will defer to others players if there is not space (and based on points/record most if not all in this list are likely to be better players than me) and if I am included I might need a sitter for the last 2 weeks of Februrary.

re the locked Icon: If a thread gets dropped down along way (I think it means off the 3rd page) then it becomes locked - this is to stop people from gravedigging the forum.

I did get a message from spyman about this awhile ago, but to tell the truth I'm feeling a little burnt out and am considering winding down a little with the leagues and all...

However, if we really need 1 extra to make a team, maybe I should just suck it up and join in for Australia!

I think you should Texasdeluxe. Btw who wants to be team captain? A sign up page has been created by DJec24. We need to select a captain, and decide which each player will play (there are a few choices - see the world cup thread).
I think we have enough players too, to form a couple of teams. For example, Australia I, Australia II or which ever names we choose.
Do we put our top players (Ghost Rating?) in the same team or we make a team A and Team B etc. Please share your thoughts.

its 4 a team with 1 public press, one gunboat, 2 regular games right? we have 10 players (hey- kestas is australian!) so i guess thats 2 teams, rahther than worry about ghost ratings why dont we just say first come first served ? so spyman, Napoleon, jason C and I can be one team ? id prefer the gunboat or public press

That team suggestion sounds good to me. I'd prefer to play a regular game.

I'm interested and would obviously be happy with being in the sean/spyman/jasoncollins team. As for game style I would prefer standard or public press over gunboat - but will to play gunboat if that is the position that is open.

The tournament organisers now have 9 teams of the minimum 14 they need to start - so we need to get things together soon.

if it works out with timing and stuff, i would like to play for one of the teams in regular game but yeah, computer access is far from certain for me until Feb 24th dudes.

I have registered an Australia team. Sean, I have put you down as captain as you are our best ranked player, and I have gone with game types for each player as specified in your post.
For the other Australian who want to play, I suggest you pick a captain and register as well (Australia II could be a good name - in homage to the America's Cup).
