I disagree. anything goes within the game, including posting chat to global. It isn't done much because it doesn't get you very far.

Its still in-game, so provided your not eliminated, by my book its ok. Just don't expect to make many friends that way. The forum would be very different thing indeed.

Also, good players understand that lying happens in the game, so won't really be that fussed by it.

He's just learning, as you said. He will find that it is much easier just to post "x stabbed me" than to post a long excerpt that nobody cares about. I am not saying you should be friends, but this is hardly a black listing offense for a noob.

Really, if it bothers you this much, then maybe you need to be more careful about what you post in one-on-one chat. Remember that other players could also be copying it to their allies and opponents via one-on-one.

@Puddle - don't play with me then because I occassionally use someone's suggestion to attack against them and if the potential recipient of said attack asks, I will copy excerpts in contect so he can get a full understanding of exactly what was discussed. I don't go global, but when asked I provide the evidence.

Any time you send a message to any player in the game, you don't have any more control over that information and they are free to do whatever they want with it, including passing it along to there allies or posting it in global.

@Puddle: It's absurd to suggest blacklisting this person. He hasn't broken any rule, and people can post whatever they want in the global chat.

@Ghost, so what if you are eliminated, you still can and should try to influence the game for those who treated you fairly when you were still active. I think it is just fine (and ther is clearly no rule against it) to influence the game within the confines of the chat after you are eliminated. If that means posting chat logs to individuals or even the global, that's the player's perogative. Don't tell me you are suddenly going to enforce an unwritten rule just because *you* think it should be a rule. We don't want to go through that again, now do we?

I think it's inappropriate.
Since you are eliminated you no longer have the right to influence the game, since you have nothing to gain from it.
Also, why post something about an active game in a forum thread? You can always use the chat channels within the game.

@hellalt - way to muddle the situation. Nobody sead anything about the forum. It was global or private chat within the game. And you can think it inappropriate all you want. You have done it. I was there and witnessed it. We crushed your ass and you still insisted on posting.

Come try, hellalt. I am responding as a member of the community. This community has always been forgiving of mistakes when people come out and accept the error of their ways.
