I feel like most of you guys like lurking more on the forum and talking about politix and crap than actually playing the game. And this was even before the big election thing.

I saw a dead bird on campus today
It made me pretty uncomfortable sitting on the bench near it. It was a red cardinal
I wonder why it died, and if marxism had something to do with it. I decided to sit inside instead and listen to some modest mouse.

I blame Abraham Lincoln
He screwed over the south's economy without granting them an alternative, devastated their homeland and subjugated them to the union. There's no coincidence that these people's descendants elected Trump today. They have been disenfranchised and alienated and economically subjugate since before 1860. We are paying for the sins of our fathers.

The union should've bought the slaves' freedom the same way Britain did.

Yet again, the will of the voters is denied. Republican gets fewer votes for the house, senate or presidency yet control all three. Yes, it is rigged

We've just elected a man who has groped women and stiffed workers.
Think about what we've done.

Clearly we do not hold and judge Trump to the same standards as we would hold our friends, our families and our co-workers.

Sorry, i am wrong. 52% of actually voters didn't vote trump. But turnout was only ~55% which means 48% of 55% of eligible voters did vote for trump. That is 26.4% of voters. (And less of the population)

Citing examples of how obamacare passed under a liberal supermajority. The patriot act and iraq war under republican supermajority.
krellin (80 DX)

I look forward to this supermajority stripping away the damage Obama has done. And for that matter, he may reach back and undo Bush damage, too -- that Obama never corrected.

stop making the moral argument against Trump:

you're not wrong, but you CAN'T win. you will NEVER CHANGE MINDS... attacking that. pathos does not defeat pathos.

Zine (10 DX)

I'm not trying to offend anyone here. We rejected Hillary because of her dishonesty and protection from the establishment. I don't think it's right for us to have a President who has groped women and stiffed ordinary workers.

Trump's promised much, all your dreams will be realised apparently, great wealth created, although so far trillions of $ of wealth has been destroyed in plunging global stock markets as it became clear that Trump would win.

Trump, like Bush before him, was elected based on a lot of things that were simply false. He won't do shit for the working people who voted for him. In fact once the economy tanks from his trade wars and Obamacare is repealed, thereby at once taking away people's healthcare and making insurance vastly more expensive, people will look at their still declining wages, the impossibility of getting health care (there is your real "death panel" it is the insurance company) people will get even angrier. It will be interesting whether the Democrats will be able to finally find their anger and put the blame where it belongs in 2018

Trump is the only president ever I believe to LOSE seats upon election and start off deeply unpopular

Like I want to laugh and say America deserves this. But then I think about all the people of colour that are going to be further marginalized. And the recession that will largely hurt the poor. And all the women that will be harmed by overturning Roe v Wade and the such. I just can't laugh. I can't pretend to be okay with the fact that racism won. That xenophobia will be on the ride. That rape culture is literally embodied in the future President. When I realize that no matter how horrible he is and how awfully he'll govern, the fact is it's not going to hurt upper middle class white men like krellin, but those who are already largely disenfranchised. I feel a lot of despair.

My man Ogion. Look at your beloved president Obama , national debt at 20T, class disparity at all time highs, health care in shambles and of all things racism T pat or better than on in the 60s. The black vote did not even turn out for Hillary because things are worse for them now then they ever have been

This was not a vote for trump, it was a vote against Hillary and the political status quo
"trillions of $ of wealth has been destroyed in plunging global stock markets as it became clear that Trump would win."

Well, at least in the US stocks are currently flat.

I am so excited that Trump won. We are truly in store for some exciting times. We have a president who is going to repeal obamacare and replace it with something that works for all Americans, build the wall to stop the unprecedented migration crisis and drug crisis in the Southeast, implement trade policies that stop the hemorrhage of wealth out of America, bring jobs and manufacturing back to America which will greatly improve the economy -GDP above .01% folks-, put on Supreme Court justices who are not judicial activists, have tax cuts that help small business people which will further spur the economy.

This is a historic time and we have a President that finally cares about the forgotten people, like me, in this country. Very exciting time.

The drug crisis can be fixed only through cooperation with other countries as well as internal checks. That cooperation is not guaranteed or stable under Trump. The wall won't be built either. I'm confident the right-leaning PAN will win the Mexican presidency in 2018, and they're less willing to cooperate with Trump than Peña Nieto.
ND (879 D)
09 Nov 16 UTC
He will. Trump is a man who never gives up. Never stops fighting. And never stops winning. He will accomplish his goals. I know that you have never believed him or our movement, but I truly hope that after four years you can look back on this as the start of something new and a time of great accomplishments.

Your love for Hillary is astounding. You people honestly believe that you're more intelligent than Trump supporters? Your dumb stupid naive childish retarded minds were exposed the moment you fuckers failed the incorruptible, never-took-a-dollar-from-corporations, stood for gay rights when it was unpopular, voted against wars when they were popular Bernie Sanders.
