I just came online to briefly tell you about what’s going on and the rumours about a website.

There is now a new website set up by the leavers, it has 19 members signed up in the past day including Draugnar, Chaqa, Maniac, fasces and many more including current webDippers. We have been endorsed by vDiplomacy as a place for political discussion away from the normal diplomacy websites, a place where people can freely post opinionated arguments without detracting from the game of Diplomacy. Oli is even going to advertise our site on vDip for this purpose.

Unfortunately the moderators of webDiplomacy feel that I’m trying to steal their traffic and won’t let me post a link here. However you can find it on vDiplomacy.com.

Please come and have a look, our new website is not an “enemy” or a breakaway group; it is just offering something different and offers to relieve the moderators of vDip and webDip from monitoring all of that political chat which is a thankless task. I have been lurking here for a few days but can’t forsee logging on much after this as I just came to let you all know. And to all the moderators who feel this is some kind of plot to overthrow webDip, I really enjoy the community of this site which is why we’ve set the site up for those members who maybe needed to be banned, but whose company we all enjoy regardlessly.
