Prior to the establishment of a central bank in the US, Congress created and issued all public currency (as mandated by the Constitution) and spent it into circulation to purchase what it needed...then after the currency circulated through society to fuel commerce, was taxed back to the government to balance the books.

Simple.

The Fed, however, creates and issues public currency as an interest bearing loan. It only actually creates the principle of that loan. Therefore, more debt exists than money to pay that debt off.

The debt can NEVER be paid off.

Your understanding of the Federal Reserve and debt is beyond horrible. The Fed doesn't lend money to people. It lends to banks via the discount window, which is only for overnight loans to help private banks meet their reserve requirement. The Fed makes short term loans, banks pay them back in a day or two because these loans are only taken to ensure that banks reserves meet the requirement set by the Fed.

I suppose this is what I have a problem with. "Just because we are Jews" is not a reason. If I wanted to study this issue and if I concluded in my doctorate thesis, that Jews were killed because they were Jews, I'd be the laughing stock of the university.

What if they ARE, in fact, better than everyone? And what if that feeling of theirs gets reflected in how they treat others?

Treating others around you as if you are superior would certainly explain much of the sentiments that seem to not be restricted by culture, age, religion or creed much better than "because we are Jews".

One needs only to look how Israel acts too see an example of this. Bottom line, the government from both sides failed to cut any deficit via the super committee. The republicans wanted cuts, and the democrats wanted tax increases. Actually being true to their word, the republicans stood firm for cuts.

Nothing, in the end, was done. No one is taking care of the situation. Some want to, but in a different way than anyone else, and we have a WWI stalemate in Congress.
