I would point out that DT isn't really trying to convince anyone that Chippe is scum, he's just throwing shade on what seem like pretty clear newbie town slips.

I, too, find it suspicious. Doubting Thomas, you mention that Chippe's town slip could be "manipulated", can you expound on your theory there? Are you implying he's being coached?

I've got a small window of time right now, so I'm doing ISOs of people who I haven't noticed much.

Bo_Sox is lurker #2. He's made 14 posts but the first one is just a complaint about the number of pages he's got to read, and the next two are just shitposting about Ghug's intelligence or lack thereof.

So what of the remaining +posts by Bo_Sox?

Page 29 (two posts): First meaningful comments - claims Xorxes is scum for meta reasons, and explains this further when asked by Brain. The summary is that Bo sees Xorxes making gentle observations but then not drawing conclusions or pushing any theories. Trying to look engaged but not actually doing much. Bo concludes this is scum Xorxes' meta.

Page 34: Responds snarkily to Worcej's grumbling about being exposed.

Page 35 (3 posts): Thinks Yavuz is being bussed. Makes sarcastic comments about Darg calling Flash hedgy. Implies Darg is scum, perhaps?

Page 36 (last 5 posts): Encourages newbies to "spread out" votes rather than consolidating. Encourages the people on 1-vote wagons to stay on them. (Bit of a weird approach in a game with vote-manipulating items, if you ask me!)

Finally, implies a scumteam of Foxcastle, Squiggles, and Yavuzovic, which is attempting to bus Yavuzovic.

I am not sure what to make of Bo_Sox here but I'm really not a fan of his proposal that we should have loads of small wagons, because that's somehow super-informative.

Fox’s post on 25 is just a justification for his specific actions. I still find his motivations to be suspect and it’s probably the best set of evidence for D1 so far in my opinion. It’s an actual tangible thread that can be followed unlike these other cases most of which are meta and not based on factual thread evidence. Honestly, my vote on you is because it’s the best set of evidence in the game for scum-indicative play. What you said sounds like an afterthought justification for your actions and I don’t think it is explanatory. I don’t agree with it. I disagree with Ghug’s post on Page 30. His Page 30 post is just so bad. He wants to just wave away the whole Fox argument although that is the strongest piece of tangible evidence in the game and blame the guy who was called out by Fox’s scum-indicative play. This is arguably interference. It’s subtle but it is there.

For the sake of elaboration, can you lay out what the set of evidence is? Otherwise, you're just claiming that there's a case without making it.

Other questions: you've seen my scum play and my town play, do you really think I'd be as blatant about Worcej's slip if I was scum?

What do you think should have been done about Worcej's slip? (Keeping in mind that the discussion between him and me was the loudest, but it was noted by at least two other players.)

Yavuz, Ive talked about snowie repeatedly. Its a meta-read. Its a read because he was slimy around Worcej, and as soon as he realized he caught a town-important-person (which he knew because he is scum) he backed off and tried to get as far away from it as possible. Town would respond to it by "lol scumslip", he knew what was up and tried to distance very fast because he already got the information he needs to NK a VIP slot. That combined with his posting style - Town-snowie knows how to towntell very well in elaborate well thought out posts that make it obvious he is town. None of that is happening here. Also, he is conveniently ignoring all my posts because he knows im right. Check the difference with PeterLund for example last game, who went full-on fuck-you vecna on the defence. He's just trying to talk his way around it, hoping others wont vote alongside me. He did the exact same thing when I caught him and his scumbuddy Peterlund as scum a long time ago before you started playing.

I don't believe I'm doing that. I do tend to go after people who do stuff without proper explanations. It goes both ways. Look back just a few posts and you'll find me asking Damo666 why he is not voting for you (by which I imply that if you are his top scumread, as he says, it's odd that his vote is on his 3rd scumread, and not you).

On the subject of Snowy, Vecna, what do you think about the way he tried to pressure Doubting Thomas to reveal if he knew his character name or not?

Yeah ok but you should make some reference to this in the post where you actually vote, because otherwise on later re-reads, when there is a lot of activity, it can be missed.

It does amuse me though that Damo is stating he is actually scumreading Snowie, but me as well, and prefers to vote me. In fact, im pretty sure like 5 of the names on his list where scumreading snowie.
