Budget crisis ...... what you on about?
Just another shining example of the efficiency and accountability that a healthy democracy brings to managing a government.
Why doesn't the US Govt just sell Hawaii and Alaska to the Chinese, they should stave off the debt crisis for now.

Putin33: Well before 1898, big business already had the Republican Party in its pocket. And the Republicans were already almost fascist in their racist imperialism. I don't know what you're trying to concentrate on with "self-government" or "public service".

And you're not looking at Theodore in a positive light, are you?

"Due to the lapse in federal government funding, this website is not available."

of course the servers are running and displaying this page, but we chose to close the rest of the website down as a publicity stunt. and to scare people into acquiescence over the government "borrowing" money on the people's behalf (which will promptly be given to the banks, but may go along with flipping the switch to turn the website back on)

The National Park Service has enough money to erect Barry-cades around the WWII monument.
President Obama's administration is shamefully petty.

Putin doesn't know how congressional elections work in the United States so I'll educate him.
Members of the House get elected in individual districts, 435 of them, across the country. Your statement that "the republicans lost by a million votes" is fabricated. House Representatives are not elected in a national election.

"Your statement that "the republicans lost by a million votes" is fabricated."

It's not fabricated. 1 million more people voted for Democrats than Republicans. The tea party crooks ruining the country right now do not reflect the will of the people. They reflect the will of crookedly drawn gerry mandered bs redistricting, as a result of low turnout in an off-year election. You Republicans always pray for low-turnout, which is why all your analysts were humiliated on election night this past year.

"President Obama's administration is shamefully petty."

A defender of a party who routinely threatens to or shuts down the government because they don't get their way on an issue they repeatedly lost on is calling someone else petty? ROFLMAO.

There are more guards being paid by the federal government to close the WWII monument that guarded the American embassy in Benghazi.
What an utter PR disaster for the Obama White House. I guess Barry didn't study about the Hoover administration's debacle with the Bonus Army back in the day.

No Putin, not one single American voted for the Democratic Party in an election for the House of Representatives. Americans voted for individual candidates. So yes your point, which is completely plagiarized and is over a year old, is fabricated.

Typical Putin, he knows how petty the Obama administration is regarding the WWII memorial so he throws out a red herring.

Not quite a year old, but plagiarized without attribution nonetheless

You should actually give Putin credit for plagiarsing...in a way, it's his pathetic self admitting he doesn't have an honest thought of his own, and therefore steals from others to try to (in his mind) enhance his public persona. Of course, since he misattributes, pulls out of context, or simply lies about what he has stolen, the opposite affect always occurs, and he continues to plunge himself further into the depths of foolishness we all ascribe to him.

Awwww....poor wittle ass clown Putin. I heard last night he almost choked to death while sucking shit....seems someone was eating corn and didn't warn him...

I knew you'd come out of your pathetic little hole for that. You are amazingly predictable, Putin....it almost ceases to be amusing it has become so easily to manipulate you in to action. But...I'll keep doing it anyway...because I like to know that you are sitting in your dark little hovel frothing at the mouth.....Haaaa ha ha ha ha! Jackass!

The petty Obama administration has now stationed mounted policy to keep 80 year-old war vets from the WWII memorial despite the fact the National Park Service has no one on duty there when the government isn't shut down, and various monuments and memorials remained open during previous shutdowns in 1997 under Clinton and in the 1980's under Reagan.

Possible iOS6 bug
If I have 2 navies adjacent in the moves list then I can't issue the 3rd part of a support move or convoy order in safari or chrome for the upper navy! It's really frustrating! So far I'm just having to choose alternate moves but lately it's really hurt me a few times. Any idea what's going on here?

On foreign policy: Russia and China in the 21st century - redhouse forum item 5000
Ladies, Gentlemen,
For my 5000th forum contribution I would like to propose the topic above. What are Russia's and China's roles in the 21st century? Do the Lavrov-Kerry conversations on Syria mark a turning point in how Diplomacy is conducted? How far will China's growing influence stretch?

Can you imagine how much more exciting US politics would be if there were three houses, and only two of them were required to pass a bill?

Looking for re-match replacements
gameID=123838 just ended--110 point buy in with some pretty reputable players. I'm setting up a rematch--it was a good game--but not everyone from the original game is interested/available.

I've created a 130 point anon WTA which will consist of largely the same group, but we'll need a replacement or two. So far we have MarekP, Feeniks, and me confirmed for the rematch, while Sylvania is out this time. I'll post the others here as they confirm their interest.
