I came down with something this afternoon myself.

Started out with diarrhea, but now it's crippling pain in my stomach every 5 minutes or so, in waves. I hope it goes away as fast as your stone. Feels like someone's twisting my guts out from the inside.

Is it in the bladder? Or is it still tearing through the kidney? If the latter, it must be pretty big and I hope they did something to either chemically or uyltrasonically break it up. I know you are Canadian and I'm not gonna insult the healthcare there, but here in the states, they would be considering surgery about now if it were still to big to pass after this long.

I've been to two ERs, and a Urologist. At the first ER(Friday), I had a CT scan and the results, various blood and urine tests. I was told that it was 4 mm(average) and starting down the tube. I got prescriptions written. I got rushed in and I did NOT get hurried out. At the second ER(Sunday), I signed a form allowing them to contact the first one for the results of EVERYTHING which they got. They referred me to the Urologist(Tuesday) who cautioned against unnecessary surgery as most stones pass on their own. He ALSO said that the stone may not move at all, and surgery may be necessary. I think that I pissed it out on Sunday and was simply dealing with scarring and withdrawal.

I've paid NOTHING.

Sicarius would have gotten the SAME treatment and also would have paid NOTHING.

Sounds good then. And it makes sense at 4mm. Too small to break up but large enough to not pass in a matter of hours. And I really wasn't trying to insult the Canadian system. I was trying to understand how things played out. My brother-in-law also has them and one of his went like yours but then stopped movign so they had to operate. Mine have all been under 3mm and cleared inside of 6 hours, not a whole weekend.
