This is not the correct hedgehog. You should move Smy-Ank, Con-Bul, Ank-Con. Meanwhile you negotiate a bounce in Black sea. If Russia moves to Black sea, you claim surprise, self-bounce in Ankara and build a new fleet in ankara. If he doesn't, you can move Con to Aegean sea, and play a Juggernaught.

@Basvanopheusden -- you cant self bounce in ankara if Smyrna is there. Perhaps you meant Smy-arM not Ank, but that would undermine the trust for a jugger, as would negotiating but not performing the bounce in the black sea.

The OP's moves generally work quite well if you're planning to fight Russia. They eliminate any chance of a juggernaut however and you likely lose the chance of getting Greece if Austria doesn't head to Serbia and/or Albania.
As always with Turkey, however, much depends on the Austrian player. Few opening moves are a guarantee of anything. Also if you play this opening and Russia plays an equally anti-Turkey opening, you could be in big trouble. Let's say Russia goes into Ukraine, Black Sea and Galicia. He then likely gets Rumania and still keeps you out of the Black Sea. Also, since you have only managed to take one SC with A Con, you might be seen as an easy target for Austria, or worse Italy.

Sorry, I miswrote. It should be Smyrna to armenia, then self-bounce in Ankara. The trick is that since you've agreed to bounce in Black sea, he'll probably not move Mos-Sev. the worst he can do is your proposed Sev-Bla, Mos-Ukr, War-Gal.

Sounds good in theory, but anyone that's heard of this opening knows exactly what it's designed for and how to counter it. I'm not chickening out and ordering the move to Sevastopol -- no sir, I'm going for Rumania with an army and having the Black Sea fleet relax, and if you went with a variation and took Sevastopol I'm still building and I'm going to kick you out in 1902. Sure, the Turk has a couple of other options at his disposal -- going for Sevastopol, bouncing Rumania -- but here's the problem. The Russian can predict what the Turk initially planned to do, and has a few ways of countering the opening. The Turk is then the one left guessing and playing defensively. The end result is that the Black Sea will not fall to the Turk because it is Russia who ends up dictating the flow of Russo-Turkish affairs past S1901.
