Ah, I see. I reported two new players who I played a live game with earlier this week. I don't think anything will ever get done about it. Thanks to a metagaming situation, I not only resigned from a game and spoiled my stats, but I also didn't get anything out of the game in terms of fun.

Exactly. It's no fun and it kills your ghostrating. Not good at all. I'm pretty sure the mods can retroactively wipe a game from the record and restore stats and points, but I'm not aware of that ever happening. Am I wrong to think this?

i reported twice clear metagaming...nothing happend even a guy with clear two accounts i reported...nothing happend...so why shall i report again ??

I suppose if we don't report it, they won't know the extent of the problem. It's like the census or crime reporting. The powers that be need a clear picture of the facts on the ground.

I did copies of the names discription what happend even gave them the two accounts. It's frustrating if u write everything down and nothing really happend.

I know the Mods do ban people but I never heard of them updating other peoples stats due to others cheating. I know the Mods are a) dead busy, b) doing this on their own time (thanks guys!), c) the time they spend investigating cheating reports is time *not* spent writing code.

That said, are there facts and figures available on this?

@taws - If its the case I'm thinking of thats because you were wrong and they weren't multi's.

@others: Yes I do refund points. You probably wouldn't notice it because I don't have the time to send round 10messages tell people "You got 15 back because this game was unfair". I also don't always reply when I've dealt with a case, particularly if several people all reported it.

As you say, its exam season, so this is far from my top priority, but we're ticking over.

The one thing I really want to do (perhaps we should all suggest/request it in Kestas' updates form) is the ability to annul a game. That way, all that would need to be done would be to do that and it would cancel the game, removed records of it and give back the points.
