Hello magnificent people! (always a good start if you're after a favour),
As I mentioned a few weeks ago Ghost & I decided to make a variant, and its finished. The map could do with a bit of neatening out (and we haven't coded in a largemap yet) but as far as gameplay goes we think its ready, and would be really grateful if we could get some testers over.
We discussed it with a few senior people from here during development, and we are confident that it is quite well balanced (certainly better than the world map).
So yes, please would some of you go play it at OliDip for us.
The only thing to add to that is that if you find something particularly interesting or bad about the map (eg an imbalance) we would prefer you tell us directly rather than to other players, as this way hopefully it won't affect the other games going on.
Having said that, we will not be changing any games during play without their players agreement, so you can be confident that the game won't change on you as I know happened with the World Variant when reduced.
