Do you get more points if you win with more than 18 centers?
Sorry if this question has been asked a million times but I just want confirmation that supply centers over 18 do not give more of the pot (in a ppsc game, of course). Thanks!

Very modest of you - you finished with 18 (well done!!) so you should be letting us know how you did it! :-)
deathspike (17 D)
10 Sep 09 UTC
I really like the way you went with this, it didn't seem like you were "stabbing" anyone. And a very effective use of retreats in the final hour. After your guy got into Serbia, the Italian player couldn't do anything. Well done. Also, it is the proper German strategy in the West to support the English and focus on Russia.
Centurian (3257 D)
10 Sep 09 UTC
Obviously well done, winning is always awesome. You were helped along by France being incompetent and England being super trusting (absurdly so actually). If this was a WTA game or a game with veterans, this game probably would have ended in a three way draw with you, Italy and England. But thats not really a criticism of you, more that they really should have controlled you, especially England.
tailboarder (100 D)
11 Sep 09 UTC
@Centurian- Thu said it was an experiment. He wanted to know if I would stab him. Early on he told me I was the most loyal ally he had run across in a long time. I believe in loyalty myself. Truth is better than lying. Just have to get creative sometimes...
I had fun playing and am relatively inexperienced to Diplomacy. I am an avid reader and strategy games and puzzles are my passion.

ehemn no stabs well no support was exchanged but still i trusted this guy
i will follow this style when i get germany seems to be effective
tailboarder (100 D)
11 Sep 09 UTC
@denis-I would like you to clarify. Too many fragments & who did you trust? me?
I hope so. Like I said I do want to discuss. I need to reread the chat log but I don't think I broke my word to anyone but England...
tailboarder (100 D)
11 Sep 09 UTC
And I only did that when I thought it would get me the win. Which it did just not immediately.
denis (864 D)
11 Sep 09 UTC
okay well maybe not breaking your word but when i agreed to turn on russia i assumed it was an alliance
tailboarder (100 D)
11 Sep 09 UTC
Definite key point...
When you think there is an agreement, make sure. If you would have made me agree to something I may or may not have. Don't let someone not answer or beat around the bush. Stabs do happen but people often think twice before breaking a solid agreement.
tailboarder (100 D)
11 Sep 09 UTC
A suggestion is not an agreement.
Neither is advice or options...
tailboarder (100 D)
11 Sep 09 UTC
Planning something is not the same as agreeing to do it...
I like to verify and make someone say they will do it.
Notice I did that (verify) a lot.
denis (864 D)
11 Sep 09 UTC
okay so since you verified you were in the agreement and i wasn't
tailboarder (100 D)

correct
denis (864 D)

Ok but when you took rum Ought of no where
Centurian (3257 D)
11 Sep 09 UTC
Sometimes forcing someone to verify something might make them lie to you tailboarder. But it is still a good idea, just not something you should always do.

You guys are both in SoW so we can get into that stuff later.

Denis, please god punctuate your posts. I can't read it.
