Have you guys noticed that there are normally a TON more joinable games in the CD section. A big multi-accounter has been picking up the games to make fake accounts seem legit to help cover his tracks.

Yes, I hate pretending to be Sherlock Holmes every time I want to join a game with less than 100 points (or more sometimes!). I know it's impossible to control.

Also a multi-account, probably one of Americandiplomat's, based on jointime and propensity for quotations about the art of diplomacy in the profile.

Being fair, lots of people go for the quotes.

Make a thread in the forum with a link to the game, but don't name the players you suspect.

In the first reply, you may explain which powers you suspect and why.

Is it fair to report someone that has legitimate multiple personality issues, or do they get a pass?

A real question though based upon reading through some of related multi-account threads. Do people truly create multi-accounts in order to join games and either let one of their countries go in to CD, or use both countries to increase their odds of winning? And if so, does this seem to happen more with the smaller point/pot games? Admittedly, I would say that at least one country has gone into CD in over half the games I've played.

DJ, I remember that game. Didn't his name also have a consonant? I thought he was Switzerland. You're right though, it hadn't started yet although it's already over. He won just after the draw let him survive his loss.

sadly I don't think I've played a game without at least one country going into cd, and that's with a few 101+ pt games.

i'm no vet, but i have played a good number of games without CD (not counting games i took over a CD country =P) and i think the greater factor than points is getting the set of players together before hand. it's the games with random people joining that i experience CDs, rather than the ones organized on the forum for example.

an aside- bartdogg42 it would be fun to play with you again - would you consider joining the game jbalcorn is organizing under the thread "leagues practice"?

I've had CDs in my recent games, but before that I would say I had a year without one. Saying that, I don't play very much any more, and often prepare by collecting my players first. Still, I don't think there's any correllation between CD and multi numbers.

I know there is a lot of talk about multi-accounting, but thats because most of it gets found!
