If you wanted to make a game where points don't matter you should have not made it so high-pot, and WTA.

The way it is - this game is destined for a draw. One or two people will get killed in the beginning, maybe someone will get a bit too big and will also go down - but once it's down to 4-5 people they'll only think about how not to let someone else win and lose so many points.

What type of game were you trying to setup?

Ivo - your post reveals the problem with the point system we have here. The points shouldn't affect the way you play. People should stop the leader not because of the points, but because he's the leader.

Answer: There are only 25 who can, some of whom are no longer active, and many of whom will already be fully booked.

Jacob - noone is arguing with you - yes, the point system has side-effects.
However, the points bring some advantages also. For example - if this was a PPSC game most likely there would have been more willing to join. And it would have been much more likely for the game to have a winner. With good players, high-pot PPSC games can turn to out pretty well.

WTA has to be lower-pot - otherwise the points start to get too important. The league games are a good example.

Ghost - I understand this - but what I am saying that the game Jacob created is a bad game for people who don't play for points.
Why would I join a game that is most likely to end as a 4-way draw (as noone will want to drop out of a 16K pot) - so the main skill would be to survive? I'll most likely make it - but I always feel it's a lot like lottery. These are paranoia-driven games from my experience.

xgong, I was looking at your game - as there're not so many good games around - but decided we've been bumping into each-other quite a lot lately :)
Plus, I created two similar games (WTA and PPSC versions) and only one person joined :(

Just make this to be a variant where the players agree on no draws. Or two draw min.
