I am the player in question. I apologize if General Greivous thought he has been cheated, but i can assure you that he was not. I got into my first game on phpdiplomacy.com a few days ago. I joined the game in question as france. I had only ever played diplomacy on a board once before and did not really know the rules that well. For this reason General is calling me a "dicksucking idiot" because I did not know when he said to keep Burgundy clear, if it meant both of us or just him. I did not realise there were 2 pages of joinable games (unobservant of me) and found i could join games that my newfound ally - Chumpster was in through his profile. I only just worked out why i couldnt find those games lol. Anyway, im in a few games with him, we are not allys, and now General is accusing us of cheating him.

Right - whatever - Demonicchin is now the innocent new guy, whereas Chumpster says that he's played for years and that he's not new to the game (though the identity is new) and they just happened to meet in my game but also be involved in 2 others (that's all) for 2 days before all this b.s. Right.

It's entirely possible that they're telling the truth. I'm sure that neither of them objects to being investigated by the moderators to determine the truth or falsity of your accusation.

BTW - The "evidence" is discussed below under "what is Metagaming" and further evidence can be seen in the actual game dialogue.

Feel free to check my game dialogue, if i could get the stuff i said at the start of the match i would, but its disappeared. it seems it only keeps a few messages in history. That would prove that i don't know him and i wasn't trying to cheat.

I think this game is a disgrace. I'm out.

I'm sorry you lost this game, but losses do happen. Simply because you lose doesn't necessarily mean you're enemies are cheating. In this case, since Demon and I met in the game in question, there is very little evidence of cheating.
