"LOTR" stands for "Lord of the Rings". Friendly Sword is saying that the usernames Peregrin_Took and Sauron come from the same book (they're both main characters), so in effect, I'm multi-accounting which is not true. I believe the person(s) in charge of this site could prove that to you.

It might take some time - it's SAT/SUN after New Year afterall - and they're doing it in their spare time.

Now, this will probably not make you very happy - but from what I know all games and players are checked afterwards - so if this is a multi-accounting case the guily ones (France in this case) will be punished (banned) - but it might all happen after this game is over.

I'm not a mod though - this is just my observation of how the system works.

Otherwise - yes, looks quite suspicious.

There are some suspicious links between Peregrin_Took, Sauron and 3 or 4 other accounts. I will be investigating further and will pause the game (ID 7157) for the time being.

Peregrin_Took (10594) and NWE (10688) have been banned for mutliaccounting. I strongly suspect that Sauron is also the same person, but there isn't enough evidence for a ban at this point.

Just out of curiosity, what amount of evidence is necessaryfor a ban to occur?

Do you have a formulae? (ie. IP adress, # times logged on together, amount of one-sided collusion etc. etc.)

I was just looking at this myself but it appears dangermouse beat me to it. I saw the evidence too and must say I found it particularly damning as well.

The specifics of the tools used to detect multi-accounters is generally not discussed (so to not make it easier for them to evade detection). Suffice it to say that we generally avoid banning unless it's pretty blatant.
