I think based on comments by Maisie Williams we can assume Jon Snow lives on in Ghost. I know thats a pretty obvious fan theory but the question will be how long is he in there? it all spoils the book regardless. GRR kinda fucked up by letting this season inevitably ruin the book.

Maisie is trolling. Living on in Ghost is ridiculous to me. They're not making a dog a main character. I think Jon will live on as Jon Targaryen-Stark, and when they try to burn John's 'dead' body he will walk out renewed, because he has Ragar Targaryn's blood, and Targaryns are "fire-borne", just like Danyrys did in the Season 1 finale. This won't be a leap for non-book readers, and it would be a great example of the book's foreshadowing; particularly if Dany and Jon end up as a couple (as some think).

I also think Jamie Lannister in the Riverlands, and the confirmed return of Blackfish, with a return to BwB and Frey territory with Edmure Tully, all indicate to me that LSH may finally be here.

It's also fascinating to think how LSH would play out when she became of Sansa, Arya, Bran, oh and Rickon (yawn), being alive -- it would fit well with the while fire and ice theme because can her ice stone heart be melted with love of she was reunited? LSH must have an epic ending.

They had a moment to tease it ages ago. I dont get why they left that entire plot out. The books make it relevant to impending deaths of 2 POVs Jamie and Brienne... plus Pod

Jon Snow gets resurrected by Rh'llor power, similar to how Thoros of Myr serially resurrected Beric Dondarrion. That may or may not involve a temporary warging where Jon throws his consciousness into Ghost (like Varamir Sixskins) to preserve his self in between his death and his resurrection. I originally thought Melisandre would do the resurrection since she was up at the Wall, but she left. Now it looks like a new character played by Ian McShane likely will do it.

Dany will gather a new khalasar. I'm hoping that by the end of Season 6, she is ready to head to Westeros in force.

S6 should heavily feature Bran. I expect many tree-flashbacks, including to the Tower of Joy scene to confirm R + L = J.

Natalie Dormer said she filmed scenes in Spain, which suggests Margaery goes to Dorne.

Ian MacShane's character has been widely accepted as a Riverlands character.

That would also make a lot more sense; to return home after her barbaric treatment and the new powerlessness of her role as Queen to an inept boy King.

Also, the Castell de Santa Florentina, where Natalie filmed, is a tall castle with extensive gardens, and it's height makes the castle look raised = Highgarden.

I agree on Bran -- the flashbacks should be great, and that's of course why they tentatively inititiated GoT flashbacks last season with Maggie the Frog. A few Ned Stark flashbacks should be in order. Tower of Joy will be great. It makes complete sense.

Ah, I hadn't heard about the actual location in Spain. That makes more sense, although since S6 is going into uncharted waters they might well have had a Margaery in Dorne adventure. I mean, it's not like Jaime/Bronn were "supposed to" go there.

Shortly before S5, they did a limited run in movie theaters where they showed the last two episodes of S4 followed by the trailer for S5. I got a chance to see it, and recommend it if they do it again for S6. It's fantastic seeing GoT on the big screen (especially the big battle at the Wall in 4.9!).

Ive heard everything from Ian MacShane as a flashback of The Mad King, to that he is Randall Tarly.

MacShane said in an interview that he appears in one episode only, bringing back someone everyone thought was dead. Or something to that effect.

I'm hoping GRRM does another of those fake spoiler videos like he did for season 4.

What I'm wondering is what's going to go on with Kevan Lannister, and if his story will play out the same as in the books. I know it's not as flashy a desire as LSH or whatever, but it's a big point in the Lannister plotline.

So, my thoughts here.

Cersei wins, but is devastated when Jamie comes back and tells her of Myrcella's death. She sends Jamie into the Riverlands, not wanting to see his face. Then we get the BwB and Blackfish shenanigans. Margeary gets her revenge on Cersei by kidnapping Tommen and taking him back to Highgarden with her, deeming Kings Landing not safe. There they can "consummate" the marriage (I say that because she'll just find some other dude), putting a timetable on Tommen's life once she has her "royal" child.

Littlefinger wipes out the Boltons with a Lannister+Vale army....have no idea what more will happen there. Tyrion deals with the Yunkish siege while Dany gathers her Khalasar. The Iron Fleet arrives at the end of the season and they take it West.

Lannister + Vale army, huh? No Harry the Heir for Sansa?

We've been ignoring the Iron Islands in this thread, probably because the series has. There should be more Greyjoy action in S6. Asha/Yara and Victarion, and ohpleaseohplease Euron.

I hope Ser Pounce goes to Highgarden.

Kevan dying and Pycelle might go down at the end of the season its a definite both die this season as the show loves deaths there are not as many main character deaths to expect in S6....

Maybe Roose Bolton or Frey.

S6 key plot points.

-Bran discovers Jon Snows parentage.

- Arya goes too far.(kills someone we like?)

-Greyjoy light plot. Euron is cast.

-Sam ends up face to face with his father (Randall Tarly) and kills him.

-Khaleesi arrives in stormlands end of season ( instead of faegon)

-White walkers destroy the wall.

And I really like the idea of Littlefinger inadvertently paying for Arya Stark to kill someone; then Arya being in a dilemma -- OR being unable to see that she is actually killing someone close to her.

They really are quite short, but still fun!

Well Arya we have to assume is the only stark left in the story who dies. Her character Arc is too full of angst still. I imagine she will make a misstep eventually and die in the final parts of one of the next two seasons. Her training leads her to something incredible.

I wouldnt even be shocked if she kills Varys, or Roose Bolton. But perhaps Arya killing Margery is not out of the question either.

As far as inevitable plot points I had not mentioned, seems to me that Theon and Sansa have their own unique Arc now seperate from the books which I beleive has inspired George RR Martin to change some things. I think Theon still dies in this story, but his redemption arc likely has something to do with meeting Bran one last time.

Also I wouldnt be shocked if the Greyscale plague infects southern westeros when Khaleesi arrives, simultaneous to the influx of the dead in the North.
