Special Rules Game: A center is randomly selected (through chance) at the start of the game. Whoever controls it a decade later (Fall 1910) wins. If you solo before then, you win as well. Draws are not allowed. There will always be one winner and 6 losers. Standard Map, 36 hour phases, WTA. 1. steephie22
I know that when you click save instead of ready, you get a gray check. But if time runs out before you click ready, are your saved moves inputed or do you have no moves for that turn?
Colorblindness update and live game display option
Colorblind options are now live. Live game display option is also live. Both settings can be changed under "settings." Much thanks to ATC and the dev team, including thorfi, Kestas, and Oli. ATC will also push out the auto update fix for the colorblind option soon. You might have to manually update your map to see the change at the moment. Please thank them for the work they do and let us know how much you enjoy these updates!
Krystle Marie Campbell (29), Lu Lingzi (23), Martin William Richard (8), and Sean A. Collier (27). Not to mention the 264 other injured people. The bomber does not deserve to have his name remembered by society, they do.
To fill out a locked game. Full disclosure several of us have played multiple games together, and some know one another personally, but we all leave that at the door and play to win. gameID=160620 Ppsc, full press, non anon, 1901
An Ancient Mediterranean Game, looking for players.
I would like to start a game in the Ancient Mediterranean. There will be messaging and press, and maybe anonymous players. This game will have normal turn lengths (1 day) and may or may not be password protected. Would anyone be interested in this?
Rule 1: READ THE RULES; It is your responsibility to know and follow all the rules (http://webdiplomacy.net/rules.php) Rule 2: Try the FAQ section (http://webdiplomacy.net/FAQ.php) Ask questions not covered by Rules 1 and 2 and receive wisdom.
if all remaining players give unanimous vote for either DRAW, PAUSE, or CANCEL, that effect will happen immediately.
DRAW: ends the game and rewards a Draw Includes All Survivors Equally. PAUSE: Pauses (the game clock will freeze) the game and unpauses the game once all players vote UNPAUSE. CANCEL: Deletes the game from existence. There will be no record of the game. All points will be refunded to everyone. Use this is there is a reason the game should never have happened (like cheating happened, or someone didn't show up at the start, etc etc)
Players that have been eliminated or resigned do not count as players for requiring unanimous vote.
1. Apparently you want http://webdiplomacy.net/faq.php because case sensitivity is a thing.
2. Also in that FAQ: This site seems to slow my computer down See Help > What is Plura? for a likely cause and fix.
... I can't find anything about "What is Plura?" under the Help link.
3. "What are/Where could I go to find out about common opening moves/strategies?"
4. "Who should I talk to at the start of a game?"
5. "What are/Where could I find out about some of the less obvious tactical options (e.g. self-bounce, supported-attack-on-own-province, using cuttable vs uncuttable supports, etc)?"
6. "When should I press Draw?"
7. "What's a stalemate line and why are they important?"
Only the domain name isn't case-sensitive. For instance, WEBDIPLOMACY.NET will get you here. WEBDIPLOMACY.NET/INDEX.PHP won't get you here because index.php is a file name: you are redirected to a file by that name on the domain you entered and there is no file named INDEX.PHP.
WEBDIPLOMACY.NET/index.php will work as well. Just the bit after the / is case-sensitive, in a nutshell.
I blame microsoft for lack of case sensitivity. An A is different from an a. At first, Windows took your password and UPPERCASED IT SO IT WASN'T CASE SENSITIVE. Idiots.
actually steephie, WEBDIPLOMACY.NET/INDEX.PHP probably will get you there. Since index is usually understood by browsers and rendered correctly. I know it'll at least work on chrome, probably on IE and others as well.
The requested URL /INDEX.PHP was not found on this server.
(It's actually down to the web server for the stuff on the right of the domain name. It's possible to configure them in ways that mean case sensitivity isn't a thing.)
No Move Received/Civil Disorder/ Reliabiltity rating. NMR is not putting in a move on time, CD is leaving a game because of inactivity, both pertain to your RR score.
You all heard the news before. I asked people not to forget, so I'm reminding people today again. There was a second quake this morning of similar magnitude (7.3), killing many, but more importantly right now, people are forced to live communally outdoors as the monsoon season approaches.
