with all it's faults Israel is still a better nation state than many others for it's citizens

both hate with greater passion & fury the Moderate, because it's the Moderate who poses the greatest danger to opposing extremists, because the Moderate is the one who can produce solutions that the majority of ordinary citizens will support, and then the opposing extremists are seen by the majority as being "lunatic" hate mongers et al
