Snail Mail Diplomacy
Just wondering if someone knows where I can find a diplomacy game using snail mail. I have always wanted to try to play in one and try it out. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be most helpful.

Bioshock Infinite
Just finished playing it in one long binge. All I've got to say is WOW.
That's the reaction I've heard from everyone. I guess I should try it out....after I finish Skyrim, of course.

In Soviet Russia, you do not finish Skyrim, Skyrim finishes you.

Bioshock Infinite is great, Skyrim is great, and Yakov Smirnoff is great. Well done all.

You forgot Brew's great Tolkien reference (One does not simply walk into Mordor.)

Bioshock Infinite is a great game.

The orginial Bioshock is one of the best games of all time. Infinite is built on plot (a great one at that), while Bioshock is built on characters. I liked the character driven story of Rapture better, but Infinite was still a great example that video games can still have exceptional stories.

******BIOSHOCK SPOILERS******
I have yet to play Infinite, but I agree with what Tom said about the first game building on the characters. One of my favorite things about Bioshock was spending the whole game regarding the Big Daddies and their Little Sisters with fear, and then finally becoming a Big Daddy and protecting your own Little Sister in the end. It was really cool to experience life in Rapture from the point of view of a Big Daddy and it proved for a great ending (I chose to save all of the Little Sisters).

I don't think Infinite is any less character driven, with the relationship between you and Elizabeth being the most fleshed out video game relationship I have ever encountered. I also liked that Columbia was a more living city compared with Rapture. It was also much less survival horror.

I wouldn't consider Rapture a survival horror setting, but more of a simply sketchy, creepy area. There weren't many times when I jumped out of my seat or nearly shit my pants while playing, but there were definitely times when all you can hear was the whistling of a splicer, or the eerie moan of a Big Daddy.
Tom Bombadil (4023 D(G))

There were times where I did not buy into the belief that the relationship between Elizabeth and Booker was genuine, and those moments sucked me out of the story and made me realize I was playing a game again. There weren't many times, but I can't say the same negative thing about Rapture.

Also, the DLC options for Infinite are fantastic, as side characters were rather shallow, and Columbia has much left to be explored, meaning DLC can take several directions.

I have had my eye on infinite for months now, I will hopefully be able to buy it soon.. I've played the other bioshock games, they were amazing and it sounds like infinite will be just as good.

I haven't tried out Bioshock 2 yet, since I've heard many negative things about it. What is the cause for all of its distaste?
Tom Bombadil (4023 D(G))

The story of Bioshock 2 is meh. Not nearly as good as the original or Infinite. The combat is super fun though. Its still a good game.
murraysheroes (526 D(B))

@Brew...Bioshock 2 is a good game. The main complaints about it (which are accurate, mind you) are that it's largely more of the same albeit with a slightly less compelling story. If you enjoyed the first one, you'll enjoy the second one. If you hated the first one, then there's nothing different enough about Bioshock 2 to win you over.

Sorry, I was writing at the time Tom posted--basically, "what he said."

So, the Obama presidency is over...
Take the Department of Justice spying on the AP reporters and the IRS being hostile to conservative non-profits, and add them to the Benghazi debacle, mix in some Fast-and-Furious guns sold to Mexican cartels, and you get an administration that is not only a lame duck, it is a dead one. Can Obama hope to accomplish anything in the next three years? Would the country be better off if he resigned and we started fresh with President (shudder) Biden?

Is it me or are the forum delays back?
Although the "Rendered In" time is ~0.05s there's a >4 second delay between clicking a button and getting a response. This wouldn't be that strange at 9pm, when a lot of people are on-line locally, but it's 2AM here now.

Little quick help please, French.
I need the following sentence in French:
I want to go to England in the summer holiday (or however you say that in English, if you speak French you know what I mean though).
Is the right sentence:
Dans les vacances d'été, je voudrais aller à l'Angleterre.
