getting back in to Combat Mission
haven't played for a long time since I'm on a Mac and the classic CM games don't work anymore. I'm excited to see Battlefront has come out with new WWII CM. But they're a bit pricy. Not sure if I should get Normandy or Fortress Italy? Anyone play these games?

Alacriousness
Problem of politicians regarding Syria: the alacrity to do something. If Cameron and co just hold their breaths for a second, wait for what the UN has to say, wait for what other nations have to say, they'll get their mandate. There's simply no rush.

Sbyvonomics
In a perfect (i.e. Sbyvl-dominated) world, the economic system would be much better than it is today. Here are my five steps to fix the socialist playpen that we call America:

So in other words, become Democrat-Lite. That has never worked. Whenever we moderate (1912, 1916, 1932, 1936, 1940, 1944, 1948, 1960, 1976, 1992, 1996, 2008, 2012) we lose. Whenever we nominate a Conservative, or someone that runs as a conservative, we win (1920, 1924, 1928, 1952, 1956, 1968, 1972, 1980, 1984, 1988, 2000, 2004)

@mendax, at least it's progress. The social standards of the US, as with many countries, evolve slowly but surely. Just keep the pace tempered and reasonable rather than demanding a bunch at one time and i think you'll find more conservative who will agree with you. I certainly do.

Answer the question, you chickenhawk piece of shit.

You slander a goddamn war hero... what have you done? What have you done to deserve the blessings of being an American Citizen?

DId you just fall out of your mothers fucking pussy on American Soil? Is that it?

I didn't think it was possible for you to make me utterly despise you, but you managed it.

@kramerkov - what you say is probably true, but it's still incredibly frustrating that it's 2013 and we still don't have basic protections for so many people.

Hey now Jack you can stop with the swearing. Just because he doesn't appreciate what service men went through doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to have a civilized conversation with him.

Oh and for the record.. wth Sbvyl even if you don't agree with Dole's politics how is he a coward? Really? Let's see you go through that and survive with that much fortitude to come home and then service his country more.

That is so wrong it makes me cry a little inside that someone could be this ignorant. A democrat lead us through both WWI and WWII (1916, 1940, 1944) not to mention 1936 saw the start of a major turn around in the depression thanks to FDR (a democrat). While the 1920's (1920, 1924, 1928) so called "winner" candidates saw fit to prepare this country for the inevitable crash that was the Great Depression.

Celtic; I understand what you're saying, but I don't agree.

If he's going to say such things, he should be prepared to be called to the carpet in the most brutal way possible.

I may not agree with Senator Dole's politics. But I will not insult or allow somebody to insult his courage and patriotism without saying something.
Celticfox (100 D(B))

Kramer you're a conservative right, but a more moderate one?
Sbyvl36 (439 D)

I was referring to his reluctancy in advocating conservative positions, not his military record.

Answer me, you fucking piece of shit.

You're pretty quick to slander people better than you, but now you've gotten all quiet.

At least have the courage of your convictions you fucking slimeball.

Jack_Klein (897 D)

He's still accomplished more than you. He's actually DONE something to advance his views.

Unlike you, who indulges in your ill formed crackpottery on a forum.

You're still insulting people who have done more for this country in a year than you have your entire worthless life.

Again, I repeat. What have you done to deserve the blessings of American Citizenship? Fell out of the right pussy? Have you done anything to serve your country? Peace Corps, military, elected office? Dog catcher? Anything?

Or are you just a fucking blowhard with shit ideas?

It's worth noting that the worst economic collapses of the past 100 years have been caused by deregulated financial industries and a huge proportion of income going to the top 1% of earners.

I saw elected official on that list. Do you really want me to run for public office?
Celticfox (100 D(B))

You know the last time someone avoided a question it was Krellin and well damn... Krellin at least was open about the fact he was avoiding, but Sbyvl just ignores. Makes him not worth listening to.

So nothing? You don't have any courage. Fucking sniveling coward.

You won't run because you couldn't get elected dog catcher. If you really believed in it, you'd try anyhow to raise awareness for your views.

But as I suspected, you're an American that has done nothing to earn the blessings that they enjoy.

At least immigrants have to go through trials and tribulations to enjoy the benefits we're born with. That makes them better than you, coward.
Sbyvl36 (439 D)
31 Aug 13 UTC
And what have you done for this country? Other than call me a Fascist.

"Read about the depression of 1921, the Roosevelt Recession, and Hoover's tax raise"
Tax raise huh? That sounds an awful lot like those nasty liberal ideas you hate so much not to mention what your favored candidates are so heavily against.
For the record I think we should do our best to keep taxes reasonable and cut spending on dead weight programs, but we will have to raise them at least a little to cover costs and certainly cannot lower them.
Celticfox (100 D(B))
31 Aug 13 UTC
Even still he has forwarded his conservative views. Not everyone who's conservative will feel the same as you do. I doubt Goldwater would be as conservative as you are Sbyvl. But again I point out it's cause of people just like you that Congress can't compromise on anything or get anything done.

I served in the United States Navy from 2000-2005. Operated submarine nuclear reactors. I enlisted before 9/11, and spent over a year of my life in a steel tube defending fuckstains like you who are big on talk, and whose actions are worth less than a fart in the breeze.

Game, set, match, coward.
