well my constraint is money... i could likely make it if it was on the continent, and i had sufficient warning to save my money. i can't see myself having enough to blow on a transatlantic though.

@abgemacht - I assure you, it IS a nice family vacation. Most of our tourists are in the senior age group, but of course there is lots for a young man/woman to do (beautiful walks in the Nature, for example).

@vamosrammstein - There is golf, yes. At least in my island (Terceira)

Figle, and others, I'd do a Cambridge or London game if I could make the dates, but can't really travel right now otherwise.

dudes. anything like this would be best setup as a subgrouping of an existing Dip tournament. World Dip Champs are in Aus this year, so that's probably out for most folks, but there's several conventions etc scattered around Europe and USA throughout the year.

I'd be up for a face to face. At least if we did it in the next six months I'd be avoiding a cricket injury! I was also at Cambridge, so I could probably grab a room in my old college easily enough, and the guys there should be able to book a room in their own college with no probs.

I will be over at the end of Jan... only a short trip but might well be able to slip out for a game... I would like that very much.

What about a Trans-Atlantic cruise? There are some re-positioning cruises from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami to Europe in the Spring that are fairly reasonably priced.

With my wife expecting our 4th child in February, I am out for this year. I could possibly get a way for a weekend. I'm from Ottawa and I could possibly go to Toronto, Kingston or Syracuse NY.

A cruise sounds a bit involved, tbh. I was thinking this would be a weekend thing, no? Maybe Thurs-Sun at the longest.

Krellin, from Michigan, would *totally* go to Chicago for a game. The concept of *anywhere in the US* is a pretty broad concept. Chicago is doable, though.

I would totally host a game in Chi-town just to kick your ass Krellin :P

I love traveling so I'm up for some becautiful destination like the Azores or a Dip mini-cruise. Maybe Bermuda-midway between US and UK.

I was there last year. Damn if I knew you were going, I would have gone. Its in Central Square at that gaming book store, right?

Yeah, I went for the first time this year; lots of fun.

And the Australian Champ was there and he won his first 2 games. Then my son stabbed him in the 3rd game-boy was he mad!
