I think I'd tell the others that you aren't going to fight him, but let him get the win unless they switch sides and start helping you. then promise them the draw once OctavianF is eliminated.

Hey, watch you tongue. The Dark Lord Sauron is much smarter than that. And even Saruman's orcs showed that they had some free will. The Dark Lord's were multis, but Saruman's were more like metas with some sense of preservation.

The point was to add depth to the world he created. Professor Tolkien was a professor of linguistics. He created a world with a complete set of rules all it's own and a rich back story that could rival the recorded history of man.
