I agree, I dislike turkey a lot even though I know its my best chance of doing well. Really you have no opening decisions, only 2 real negotiations, and your future is no way in your hands. Same for Italy, that depsite having more options....usually has a poor outcome......

My least favourite country would have to be Russia. I just can't get the hang of playing it in the early game. Ironically Italy is my favourite to play solely because you have to use a lot more diplomacy in every phase than the rest. Italy is the lynch pin that decides the balance of power in either of the eastern/western theatres of combat.

why is France so darn popular?!?!

I think that France is "so darn popular" coz it gives you a fairly good chance at survival, as you have limited fronts, and you are close to a lot of the neutral SCs

Anyways, I'm going to have to go with Italy as my least favourite (sorry milestailsprower). It's just, a bit hard to maneuver around in Italy. I also dislike Austria quite a bit, due to its multiple fronts and limited SCs free for the taking.

I'll count that as 3/4 vote for Italy and 1/4 vote for Austria

And I absolutely LOVE France, Turkey, and Germany. I dominate everytime I'm either one of those three countries....Ok, maybe not everytime, but you get the point.
See, France is just easy to play with, I have a winnning formula that will NOT rely on other countries around you, and Turkey, well, you really don't have to do much to emerge as a growing power. Just get Greece, and Bulgaria definitely, and try to get into the Black Sea. If you can't get into the Black Sea, you will be able to in Spring 1902, so don't worry about it.

Italy. Trying to get a second build in the first year is difficult and three builds is nigh on impossible. Contrasted to Germany which can do just that without too much trouble...

England and italy are hands down the worst in diplomacy

france. easy but BORING.

Austria and Germany are both pretty bad. If they aren't leading mid-game they are instantly the next target for expansion by the strongest power.

definitely going to have to go with austria and italy being the worst. austria you are completely vulnerable, if any 2 of the 4 countries bordering you decide they want you out, your gone. italy its hard to expand since you only have 2 provinces bordering other nations, so its hard to support without fleets. turkeys pretty good, it may be boring, you may only have 2 options, but at least you can do well in it pretty consistently.

England is the worst in my opinion they are far more reliant on lots of solid deals then other countries which is hard to do on a online game like this.

Austria 6.75 (I don't really like Austria but whatever)
Turkey 6.5 (Weird I've always liked turkey, a nice easy power to play with more options then people seem to think.)
Germany 5.5 (I'm not really sure about Germany not a bad power but it can be hard to play mid game. )
Russia 4.75 (I kinda like Russia but I'd rather be playing a different power, it's just not that fun to play )
England 4 (I dislike England only in diplomacy quite a neat country in real life. Not that much fun to play and has trouble getting troops to land.)
France 2 (France is alright not to hard to play but can provide some interesting situations not my favourite but certainly a fun country.)
