"And if *YOU* wouldn't date a 14 year old, why would you defend an 18 year old that does. That makes you either a hypocrite or a liar. "Not for me...I think it's wrong...but if you want to..." says the immoral hypocrite."
I wouldn't sleep with a guy either, but if another guy wants to, whatever, I don't care. I wouldn't have an interracial marriage, but if two other consenting people want to, sure, go for it. And I wouldn't date a 14-year-old girl at 17 but I don't mind if someone else wants to as long as the 14-year-old understands it, which most do, and is okay with it. That doesn't make me a hypocrite.
There is a four-year window. 21-year-olds can date 17-year-olds. 18-year-olds can have sex with 14-year-olds. As long as it's consenting, it's legal. At least in Indiana. I don't know about other states.
Being a man of principle basically means that if others don't do what you do, they are wrong. Being a man of thought instead of formulated principle means that if others don't do what you do, you think about it, consider their course of action, and determine whether or not there are scenarios where it can be acceptable.
I'm definitely not a man of principle. Sorry if that doesn't please other men of principle.
