Would you allow someone to enter in and just play on Sunday?

I don't want to give an official answer, but I would say it's OK. People who registered would have precedent in joining games, though, so there may not be any available. There may also be a small ($5) fee.

Its been probably close to 10 years since I was actively involved in a FTF group, and I would love to get some games in. But, Fridays and Saturdays are kind of out of the question for me. We'll see, if it goes through, maybe I will just show up to be a fly on the wall if that's okay.

Is there any sort of FTF group in the Boston area? I used to play with a group (PTKS) in Maryland that met fairly regularly.

Keep in mind, Friday night is just a fun get-together. If you can get free on Sat, you could participate in the full tournament.

Boston Massacre Tournament is also in June every year. But, that also runs Sat-Sun

AHOP... when did you play with PTKS? I used to play with them... actually, I was one of the 'founding' members back in the late 90s when it was first getting off the ground!

They run a very good tournament in the Oct/Nov timeframe every year near DC called "Tempest in a Teapot" and usually have 50+/- ppl on hand...

the Boston Massacre website is for 2008. do we know if they are organizing for 2011? There was a 'Melissa' listed as a contact person, maybe someone should contact them, could be a very good source of ideas too.

Melissa has moved to New Zealand, I am not sure who is organizing it this or when it is, but there is a possibility that we may have to combine with them if we do not get enough people for our own tourament

I think that if you pay via paypal, you should have to pay $26 or $26.50 for paypals 'handling' charge.

Crazyter sent me $26.50 via PayPal, which netted $25.43 after $1.07 in PayPal fees. I have paid myself to register, so I have $50.43 I will mail to abgemacht once I get a bit more money on PayPal, or near the first of the year, whichever comes first.

I'll be delaying my email and money sending to hopefully later this week. I am waiting to hear word from a possible summer internship which will determine whether or not I can attend. So don't think that I am just ignoring this thread.
