I didn't say I make $20/hour. I don't have a job. I'm going to look for one next semester. I said what some of the jobs I'm looking at would pay. My family flies in the nice, cozy seats with six inches of leg room right in front of the bathroom - I wouldn't call it first class. If supporting a hobby of mine that my family often takes part in because they get to see cool places and do cool things with me is considered flaunting my wealth, whatever. I really don't give a fuck.

What are these technical questions? Been living in Japan for 9 years but while i have never climb Mt Fuji i work with loads of people who have.

I mostly need to know what equipment I need. A lot of guides say that it's not technical even during the winter and that one axe will do but given the conditions I'm wondering if it's better to have all of my gear with me in case I end up needing something, even given the extra weight. It seems like no one can give me a straight answer on that for whatever reason.

No, I put pretty much all of it into my tuition because my parents aren't overly rich, they just saved up from the moment I was born. I'm still using some loans, albeit small ones.
