getting back in to Combat Mission
haven't played for a long time since I'm on a Mac and the classic CM games don't work anymore. I'm excited to see Battlefront has come out with new WWII CM. But they're a bit pricy. Not sure if I should get Normandy or Fortress Italy? Anyone play these games?

Alacriousness
Problem of politicians regarding Syria: the alacrity to do something. If Cameron and co just hold their breaths for a second, wait for what the UN has to say, wait for what other nations have to say, they'll get their mandate. There's simply no rush.

Sbyvonomics
In a perfect (i.e. Sbyvl-dominated) world, the economic system would be much better than it is today. Here are my five steps to fix the socialist playpen that we call America:

Real reality or your reality? Your reality is a horrible, hate filled disaster unencumbered with the thought process.

All im saying is that even if you think its wrong, even if the bible says its wrong, doesn't mean you have the right to restrict other peoples right to commit wrong things.

@ILN: That is why we have civil leaders, to keep morality.
ILN (100 D)

Funny how you choose to affiliate yourself with a religion of love and forgiveness, yet spew out hate, no wonder Christians have such a bad image nowadays, its because of you Protestants and Catholics.
Sbyvl36 (439 D)
25 Aug 13 UTC
@2ndWL: I am not filled with hate. All I am saying is that it is morally wrong. It looks like you're the one filled with hate.
Sbyvl36 (439 D)

@ILN: Yea, because the Orthodox church(es), with their Anti-Catholic propaganda, aren't creating more turmoil within Christianity.

We don't need civil leaders to "keep morality" lol
"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. "

Its funny how conservatives like sbyvl will argue for days about personal responsibility and removing regulation, but when it comes to sexuality, we should look to elected officials for "moral guidance" and remove personal preference from the matter entirely.

Not to mention the Catholic Church is hardly an example of modern morality. You made a saint of a man who turned a blind eye to child abuse within the church, but he is held up as the pinnacle of your religion?

@ILN:
"Im sorry, but tell me again who committed the crusades, who gave out indulgences, who is involved in sex scandals and who led to the rise of so many new churches. answer me that."

The Crusades were in response to constant jihad by the Muslims. Except the fourth one, which we all detest.

Matthew 16:16-19 gives us the right to give out indulgences.

It isn't our fault that Martin Luther, while on his toilet (look it up), decided to bring 9 million people out of the church. However, we compensated for that by getting 11 million converts in the Americas during the same period.

lol, calm down, could have given me the link from where you copy pasted that from instead, and those are just administrative regions lmao, your confusing the church with administrative regions lmao.

@2WL: That is an ignorant response. The Pope is not in charge of dealing with priests, the Curia and the Bishop's conference of that particular country are.

Give me a break. That's equivalent to the President not being in charge of dealing with governors. He sets the precedents for the entire faith, and to not speak on the biggest scandal in church history is no example of morality.

So sbyvl, why do you want to deregulate businesses but regulate the bedroom?
Sbyvl36 (439 D)

@2WL: Coming from an atheist with no understanding of the church.

@ILN: Out of curiosity, do your churches have a Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith, or are all decisions made by the Patriarchs?
ILN (100 D)

funny how on that link you gave me, it wrote : "Eastern Orthodox Churches (in full communion)"

You cannot possibly say, with all the national churches that you have, that there is really a single Orthodox church.

I guess since "don't molest young boys" isn't in the Ten Commandments, its fair game?
Sbyvl36 (439 D)

That would fall under homosexuality. Besides, most of the problem has been dealt with. These atrocities happened in the 70's and 80's, and are, for the most part, done with now.

I remember playing this once on webdip a while back, and thought it would be nice to try it again. If you are wondering how to play, the objective is to reach Ankara, without breaking any rules or conventions set in place by Stovald and Avalon Hill, if you need to brush up on the rules, you can go to your nearest distributor of the new updated edition ruleset
