Honestly Russia, I didn't even think about that unit. I wanted it anywhere but Kiel since it was no good for supporting anything there, and I thought if it went to Munich it might get bounced. Didn't consider that it looked threatening to you.

I'll move it away from you this turn, hope this doesn't become an issue. Sorry for worrying you.

as another observer who spent way too much time reading this entire thread - I must say I've enjoyed it tremendously. loved most of it - and truly some great diplomacy and great play (and unlike WS, I thought rratclif was exceptional - I learned MUCH in reading his posts). but some absolutely horrid play by some of the southern powers... The worst by far was Turkey continuing to support Gre instead of going to Con to support himself to Bla... he even moved the army back from smy to con instead of to arm... he could have really kicked R's butt... so R, you've been pretty lucky this game.

all that said - I'm considering joining - but its such a futile cause...

let me ask this - would you all be ok with me diploming as Turkey BEFORE actually joining? I know its an odd request - but I would be picking up a horrendous position IF i did join... I wont do it if you ALL do not agree...

but I also would add that having a CD like this only takes away from your own enjoyment of the game (GFR) and you will always know you got a result you did not deserve =P (yes, I'm guilting you into allowing me to proxy-diplome for Turkey)

I'm not sure about the CD thing; in the past, I think you were able to play the next full round (so you wouldn't get to retreat) but that may have changed.

Actually, retreating is irrelevant since that was a fleet. Yes, I believe you'd be able to build since that's the next round.

Babak, if you have the points and intentions of joining Turkey, I don't mind if you take it by proxy first.

Guys - sorry to get your hopes up - but after really reviewing the board, I find this position to be completely untenable. maybe if I had got in 2 seasons ago, but not now.

that said - I love this concept and do hope I can play in a future PP-only game... though WTA not PPSC :-P

Germany: I'm really hoping that unit you have sent into York is there as a diplomatic envoy and that you will be keeping it a safe distance from London. Paranoia is something I try to keep from my mind but at this time I can't help but worry as to your intentions.

Had to move it so I could move my fleet from Clyde. I didn't want to move to Norwegian Sea or I'd threaten Russia.

If I was going to stab you, I wouldn't have moved all of my units East. It'll move back to Edin this turn, then convoy back to the mainland.
