The concept of GUNBOAT escapes you, Bob. This game was fucking ON-GOING during much of this thread. The cancellation request was bogus. I don't follow the lemming off of the cliff, and I do not apologize for that.

1. The cancellation request was not bogus. It was necessary for a legitimate game after Austria left in the first fucking year. Every player except you agreed that it was necessary for a legitimate game. Missing players mar games beyond recognition. So, seeing as the game itself was bogus, why the fuck should I offer one of the two causes of the game's bogusosity any fucking respect whatsoever.

2. Of course, had I known you were involved in the game, I would not have played. You are a belligerent moron without honor, grace, or the ability to succeed despite your many lacks as a player and presumably as a person. In sum, fuck off, dickwad.

If someone CDs in the first turn or two the only honorable thing to do is cancel, or at the very least draw. Looking at it from an outsider's point of view, I can't believe Italy didn't win that game. By the looks of things he tried to attack Germany and Russia simultaneously while he had Turkey on the ropes and was also defending against France.

I agree with mapleleaf. I don't really see a reason why that should have been cancelled. Austria looked to be in trouble and its not like one power gained a whole lot. I could see the game going in the same direction even if Austria had entered orders. CDs are going to happen, live with it. Its not like a huge power fell out and ruined the balance of the game.

I on't comment on the game.CDs suck period.
However Bob how big would this list of players be if it is not that large we could all be facing Meta Gaming charges since it would be the same list of players joining.

Just finished a live game where one person CD'd and the other essentially quit because they basically didn't think they could win any more. Why do people even bother playing if that's the way they think? Do they honestly think they are going to win every single game they play?

anyway, no comment. personally i think that CD games should be played out... but i usually concede to the wishes of everyone if im the only holdout, mostly because if i refuse they will probably eliminate me, and a cancellation is better than a defeat.
