ok, so almost everyone has voted draw in chicken fried. is this b/c people honestly think we need to draw due to the french cd or because people don't like their positions? just curious.

I think we cancel if the game was ruined. we draw if that is a diplomatic outcome. I'm sure most agree.

Since Germany has gone into CD, I vote that we draw it, and reform another game.

I think it's ok to bring up on this thread whether a cancel is viable or not (considering we have determined that a draw must be a diplomatic outcome).

I mostly want to draw so we can see who the players were, and in particular, who Germany was so I can avoid him in the future.

Look, clearly there is someone in the game who thinks they'd rather not draw. Drawing is not something we should discuss here as Lando has noted. But I think we can discuss whether we want a cancel. So I'm guess Jack what you mean is that you kinda want to cancel, but you'd rather draw.

If the problem is knowing who is who in the game I think a mod can look into this and post this info when the game is canceled.
The problem of drawing instead of cancelling on principle is that people win points and GR points that are undeserved, and on my case probably lose some GR points without any reason. It isn´t a big problem and I could agree with a draw if someone give me a good argument, but I want to put this to discussion. And this game shouldn´t keep going so I also voted for a pause so we can decide if we cancel or draw. And now you guys know which country I am :-)

If you really care i can tell you who Germany is. I can also vouch for him. This is not like him and it would seem something problem has happened in his life that has made him unable to continue to check the site.

The only points changing hands is that we'd split Germany's points. Which I can't imagine there would be a problem.

As far as ghost ratings go... I personally don't play games with my GR in mind, so that isn't an argument that really bothers me one way or another. I'd like to see who was who in the game, and not have the game disappear down the memory hole.

Well, you know who is in the game. And I'm sure we'd all be happy to tell which country we were.

And I don't think we need to take Germany's points, do we?

@rdrivera, that is pretty vain of you. From the list of people that is in this game GR should not be an issue. I don't want Germany to get his points back. Well, we will play this out as England & France will benefit from the CD. Enjoy your SCs you don't deserve. I don't care about GR. I just play to have fun & let the chips fall where they may.

@Ike - First of all I said I don´t want to let the game keep going, voted pause and cancel , so please don´t accuse me to try to get some advantage out of it. I don´t play any game with GR on mind or any other thing other then having fun on the game and a lot of people here know me and could confirm you that.
I just want to discuss a point and understand why people thinks it´s better a draw then a cancel on a game with a CD on 1903. Your point is you want to take Germany points, and I don´t think it´s a good point.
I will probably vote for the draw but still want to hear what the other people have to say before ending this thread.

i'm just glad i wasn't closer to france, otherwise i would've been guilted into drawing at the end!
with that group of players, i was shocked that cds even became an issue.
